Everybody in the SEC better be worried about ALABAMA.
Kobe Brown has been playing good basketball and he's a helluva player but with that being said...these GUYS we got are just DIFFERENT.

Curious to see how that ankle looks.

It looked like he was putting a little weight on it after a dozen or so steps. Fingers crossed he's alright.

Mike Brey retiring. Interesting to see what direction they go. Probably hire someone’s assistant

Correct. I feel if we take care of the basketball and not foul we can take the crowd out of the game the 12 minute mark. We need Sears, Bediako and Quinerly to all have good games.
Yeah, I've only seen Mizzou 2 or 3 times but seemed that they:
1) Give teams a lot of trouble with the athletic defenders in that extended 1-2-2 or 1-3-1 zone. They gamble into passing lanes and reach in a LOT even in man defense. They're kind of similar to the better LSU teams recently in that the defense gives up a ton of open looks but can also create a lot of turnovers if you're not ready.
2) offense is all about breakout after turnovers, fast runouts after rebounds and even made baskets. They didn't look good in half-court sets on offense in the games I watched but got a lot of cheap baskets playing fast.
I like their coach and the style is fun. Should be an exciting game.
If we just come prepared for that gambling zone pressure, we should get a lot of open shots. If we hit them, we should be able to keep a decent lead and avoid getting into an end-game with foul happy refs and a frenzied home crowd.

First time I've watched Purdue. I think Bama would run them out of the gym.

I don’t think they look amazing
But they’re also up almost 20 and have only given up 9 points with less than 4 minutes to go in the first half

Minnesota is the B1G's version of South Carolina, Cal, and Louisville.
Purdue is a pretty average team outside of Edey, but Edey is a monster and there's really no way to defend him or keep him off the glass.

We are too athletic for them. If Chuck can at least be serviceable against Edey we would run them.
They wouldn’t be able to stay in front JQ and Sears…..wide open Kickout 3s for DAYS

Literally. At 7'5 295, he's a literal damn monster. Angry villagers with pitch forks and torches monster.
But while there's almost nothing you can do against that. I doubt there's a center in college basketball that's more experienced against him. Chuck was Edey's backup on the Canadian national team. He's gone against him in practice hundreds of times. So I think Chuck can hold his own better than most.

He'd get his in the half court, but no way he, or the rest of that team, could run with Bama.

That's why you force Edey to beat you with his two's just make sure to defend the perimeter guys.
Play him one on one and double team him as soon as he puts the ball on the floor.

The teams that worry me the most in the NCAA tourney are the teams with the best in game coaches. So Kansas, UCLA, and Virginia mainly.
We definitely have the talent to play with anyone, we may be the most talented team imo.

Top to bottom, there’s not a better roster in the country than ours.
