Looking at that chart , we appear midfle of the pack, maybe a little better.
I thought we were big leaders in rebounding.

Since there are only 59 picks in this year’s draft (and because the current list of 210 prospects does not include players outside of college basketball), this list only means that these players are on the NBA radar. With that being said, here is the current list of college basketball’s NBA Draftables.
Alabama (7)
Brandon Miller: 6-9, FR, W, Lottery
Noah Clowney: 6-10, FR, F, R1
Jahvon Quinerly: 6-1, SR, G, G League
Mark Sears: 6-1, JR, G, G League
Charles Bediako: 7-0, SO, C, Future
Jaden Bradley: 6-3, FR, PG, Future
Rylan Griffen: 6-5, FR, W, Future

I think we are leaders in rebounding counting stats, but not in %.
I’m guessing we’ll stay leaders in rebounds since our games have more possessions than most due to our tempo.
Oats made a comment after Ole Miss that we need to get better on the boards and OM outrebounded us by 10 in the 2H.
We’ll see how we do Saturday with Oscar shoving our guys in the back.
With Clowney, Bediako, & Miller in the game, I think we’ll be ok.

quote:We're higher in gross totals because we get a lot of offensive rebounds due to our tempo (and rebounding %). But the chart shows we're probably near the top in rebounding % too, in the 10-15 range.

Just looked it up - we're #14. LINK

Ole Miss killed us on the boards. The first half shooting won that game.

Auburn falls to 48th in the NET. Looking a little bubbly
I'm sure their guards will hit all the bad shots they take when we play them @Auburn, but they do not look like a good team.

They'll do that but won't hit shots against anyone else and find themselves potentially in the NIT. Jabari and Kessler hid a lot of their problems last year, and outside bringing in Broome, kinda just stayed the course entering this year. There's also been some talk of chemistry/locker room issues for them this year, probably didn't help after Pearl threw some players under the bus last night. It'll be interesting to see how they respond and if that talk comes to fruition.

Well their defense is very good. They’ll be a tough out in Auburn all year but theyll have to fix things to win any conference road games

I was impressed with Arkansas in the second half last night, when they play like that they'll be hard to beat, especially at home. That would be awesome if we could go there and pick up a win.

Give Oats another extension now, Greg.

I'd be shocked if Oats isn't on their short list. Texas job opening up right after Byrne is making excuses about funding the new arena seems like bad timing.

Yes if Texas doesn't at least call Oats they are crazy...Bama admin need to pull some cash, incentives, something out of their arse and they need to do it fast.
I think Oats would do a helluva job at Texas and they have brand new arena.

With Oats and new jobs, I’m hopeful having one daughter going to UA with another a couple years away and the youngest in grade school that it’d have to be something crazy to uproot them.
