We were able to take advantage of Marylands lack of size, especially when Reese went out.
Not many teams can match our bigs. They had very few offensive rebounds and Chuck was bothering their shots.

It's kind of surreal seeing a Bama team this good, a favorite to win it all, ho humingly dominating opponents in the tournament. I'm enjoying every minute of it. Roll tide.

The expectation of getting to this point during the Wimp Sanderson days was very real. Now, to be at this point and be the favorite to win is another thing altogether. Good times lads; enjoy!

JQ is a great interview, a fact I would have never guessed from his play alone. He's smart and well-spoken. He was throwing out stuff from 2-3 years ago in the press conference and was super respectful of the other teams and their coaches.

Our shots weren't falling tonight but still played suffocating defense and did enough on the offensive end to win by a 20+ cushion.
When the 3's are falling we're incredibly tough to beat. SDSU is a physical and tough defense, hopefully, we're ready because we've struggled against those kinds of defenses before.

Lot of folks are already talking up SDSU for the upset next week because of their defense, which is 5th per KenPom. But we’ve played 5 games against top 10 KenPom defenses (Tenn, Houston, MSU x3), going 4-1. And SDSU? They’ve only seen one top 10 KenPom defense, a loss to St. Mary’s. And if you extend it to top 20, they’re 0-2 (Arkansas).
