I am nothing if not a man of the people.

The most important thing that a lot of people don't pay attention to in these NCAAT games is tempo, IMHO. Any analysis of of one of these games - especially early round games with a mid major vs a power conference team - that don't mention tempo are worthless.

I like those Maryland/West Virginia records away/neutral since Jan 1. Looks like they both want to slow it down.

I kinda hope we get a afternoon game, but the NCAA doesn't run on my schedule

If they give us an 11:40 game I will scream

Man for the first time in a long time I am going to miss taking Thursday/Friday off for a NCAA Tournament/ST Patrick's Day binge. Innisfree, On Tap, back to Innisfree, Night Club then Marty's or that place on Valley, or UpsideDown (I think all those places are closed now lol). That combined with a Bama number 1 seed would be epic. Those were the days lol.

You know the nipple that sticks out in the state of Iowa on the map? I spent 3 years in elementary school right on the tip in Clinton, Iowa (house was about 2 miles from the Mississippi River). Had some Hawkeye merch including one of those black/yellow mini basketballs that is probably rotting in a box in my attic right now. Going to have to go back to my roots and pull the Hawkeyes through Thurs night.

One of my best friends growing up is a big Hawkeye fan. It'll be easy to cheer against the barn.

Nah, don't think that degree even existed when I graduated 15 years ago (my degrees are in accounting).

I did spend a lot of time in the Bashinsky computer lab, though. Very little of it being productive

If Bama and AZ play, that may be an entertaining match - based on the chart.

Vanderbilt is a No. 3 seed in the NIT and will play Yale.

Florida is a No. 4 seed vs. UCF.

Not surprised Creighton has the 4th best odds to win the south.

Not going to lie. I'm pissed Auburn gets to play in Birmingham as a 9-seed. How in the hell do you let that happen? And do you not see how big of a middle finger that is to your 1-seed Houston? What an absolute joke.

Ironically I bet we gave Bama the #1 overall seed. I think we would def upset them in the second round, and the committee were trying to avoid that match with a fresh one with Houston

Speaking of auburn, found this gem* on their MBB thread
