That's EXACTLY our history. The only team that ever made it past the sweet 16 was 8-8 in the SEC and was a 8 seed in the tourney.
We've been a 2 seed three times (86-87, 01-02, 20-21), resulting in two losses in the sweet-16 and one in the round of 32.

Little note across the bottom said West Virginia is 2-11 when scoring less than 75. I'd think we could hold them under that for sure.
For comparable opponents, they beat Auburn by 3 at home. They split with Qklahoma and beat Florida badly at home but it was in November. In true road games, they were 3-8 this season. Will be a tough game, but definitely winnable.

Do we know if Alabama is session 1 or 2 yet on Thursday? Accidentally ordered session 1 tickets that are not available to resale apparently. I was trying to order session 3. SMH

Trying to avoid the embarrassment of having 5+ guys opt out. The portal and ill advised draft decisions are about to gut that program. They need to just bite the bullet and replace Hubert with Stackhouse. Give him the talent UNC is always going to be able to bring in and he could make some noise. That improbable run to the title game and sending Coach K out with a loss in the Final Four was a disaster for them in hindsight. If they had won the title it would have been worth it obviously, but Hubert is probably going to get at least another year or two because of it even though he can't coach for shite.
