You're thinking that because we struggled with the last week.
We would struggle against Mountain Brook high school right now. We are in a bad place offensively. Very bad.

Now everything gets hairy. Tournament basketball. Can’t have a bad game like this. It’s curtains and wait for next year or next decade.
Hopefully our shooting and FT touch doesn’t desert us till at least the Final Four. Dont know what to say about TO’s , we continue to make dumb dumb throwaways.
Guess that is not going to change.

Looking at the stat sheet we beat them in every statistical category except FTs

We’ve held a halftime lead in 1 of our last 7 games. Something has to change or we’re staring at a very short run-in.

But we didn’t and we haven’t shot well from 3 in the last couple games. Sure luck is involved. You’re hoping we don’t shoot well. That’s a part of game planning. It worked, though.

Glad this was a regular season blunder and not during tournament play so this will be one to learn from. Sears will be back. I thought I was watching a NBA game for minute and I loved it. Hostile atmosphere and two tough teams. My only question is, why did Oats take Pringle out? That's when we were on our run. He might be still learning the game a bit but his energy inspires other teammates.

Yeah I just looked and it looks like they own the tiebreaker over Florida and Arkansas too so I think they are locked in at the 7 spot.

I don’t see how we can keep running Bradley out as the starting PG. let this be JQ’s team from the get go to see if that changes anything in our starts. That’ll only do so much though if we get nothing from Sears, Nimari, Griffen, and Welch. 2 out of that combo has to hit shots when they’re in the game.

Against absolutely crazy statistical anomalies in most of those. AU’s 83% from 3s, A&M went 96.4% from the line with 28 attempts, SC hit crazy contested shots, etc., etc.
Can an anomaly happen in the tourney and knock us out early? Sure. It happens every year. We’re not playing poor basketball, have been playing hard every game, and need to find our 3 point shot before the sweet 16. Everyone needs to calm down. This team is not like last years team…at all

Me personally
I want to see Welch start eating up some of Griffen’s minutes and see what happens
Griffen has been slumped for 2 weeks now and Welch has slowly been better and better and is a better defender to me

According to Lovell, these are the only teams locked into a seed right now.

I didn't think about Auburn potentially moving up. If I am figuring correctly, they could possibly move ahead of Missouri if they win and Missouri loses.
