Weird thing I don't understand that really applies to most CBB games I watch. Why do they allow the best FT shooters to be fouled consistently at the end of the game? Why not trap and force a pass and then foul? They seem to always just foul. Just isn't good strategy

Tenn is melting down with ridiculous TOs. I don’t want AU to win, but I won’t be overly upset if Tenn falls to the 5 seed in the SECT

They are few and far between though and they certainly don't outweigh the many positives that this team has demonstrated for 30+ games now.
26-5 (16-2) with a conference championship and some folks would rather bitch and complain about any and every little thing they can without ever acknowledging any of the positives.
Criticism when warranted is 100% fair, but some of y'all haven't posted in this thread all damn season unless it was negative. Just straight negativity every time you click submit. It's annoying as hell.

One of the reasons I rarely post in this thread. Too many who don't understand basketball. We had a 1 possession game with 35 seconds left on the road against a good team in a prime spot for a letdown game and people act like we got run out of the damn gym.

Yep. And if we won that game, we are probably still be top 1 seed. Only exception might be is if Kansas wins their conference tournament and the game against Texas today.

Few and far between? Cant rebound, cant score, cant inbound the ball, turnovers, cant hit 3s, strugglebus vs the worst teams in the conference, fall behind early every game for nearly 2 months now...

My favorite was the separate thread started by someone who clearly had no idea what our body of work truly looked like. Something like “what’s it gonna take for Alabama basketball to kick it into gear”
We are a good team. Some shots aren’t dropping and teams are playing physical from the start. Fatigue is definitely showing, hence the slow first half starts, but if we were gonna lose a game I’m glad it was a meaningless away contest before the tournaments start.

I agree that todays effort and how we’ve played the last 3-4 games won’t take us far in march. But it hasn’t been close to 2 months in the slightest, we out rebounded A&M by 10 today, 2 weeks ago we shot Georgia’s eyes out over 50% from field and 3, etc.
You’re outing yourself as a casual and someone who just wants to complain to complain instead of dishing fair criticism pretty damn easily right now

Well said, Chad. I hate to think what the board could look like next year when we don’t have back to back 1 seeds in NCAA. How dare us not win every game by double digits over the entire year!
Then again, maybe all the “new fans” will lose interest and the board can get back to good analysis. Pretty disappointing to see a few of the regulars leaning toward melting like the newbies.
