A guy that I knew from high school lives in San Diego and he's an a-hole as well. Must be a different culture out there or something.

The stats just mean he’s due for a huge game Friday.

Forget about the game. In Louisville, there is a German beer festival with Goat races.

I'm also choosing to believe this.

Almost every player has just gone through a bad cold streak and we've seen a couple guys snap out of it. I'm now expecting Griffen to hit a couple come Friday, would love for him to get rolling again and become that big time scorer off the bench.

Hopefully Sears and Clowney can continue to improve. Sears in particular needs to start knocking down some threes.

Reading SDSU’s forum, I want us to beat the hell out of them. I guess reading any opposing fanbases comments would make me feel that way though.

I took a look last night and of course they're confident but sometimes it seems like they don't even know their own team, let alone ours. We're on opposite sides of the country but all it takes is some full games on youtube, breakdowns, or looking at the numbers to figure out what kind of team you're dealing with, it's easier to do than ever.

Also wonder the impression this thread gives off to opposing fans, I know we were linked to one of the Houston forums but can't remember if anything negative was said. Still think this is the best place to discuss bama basketball, in both information shared and our mostly reasonable posters compared to other sites.

I thought Sears broke out of his slump in the 1st round, it'll be interesting to see how he shoots against this SDSU defense that is going to hug that 3pt line.

Clowney has hit enough 3's at this point that the defense has to guard and take him seriously on the perimeter, he may not hit them at a high clip but the nights he hits multiple our offense can really get going.

Just looked up Griffen's stats. Since the Miller news dropped (9 games), Griffen has shot 19% from the field and 11% from 3 to go along with some pretty shoddy defensive work. He's become almost unplayable at this point.

He'll be fine. He needs to attack the basket more because he's one of the best interior passers on the team. He hit Pringle a couple times on the drive in the first round on some absolutely beautiful dimes.

The SDSU site had Tide fans linked. I've seen that on a few opposing fans boards, and I always cringe.

I thought he looked better the last 2 games compared to the end of the regular season and SECT (in which he was basically unplayable). I dunno if he'll give us anything but he at least seems to be in the flow of the game.

Jaden on the other hand.........yeesh.

I dunno dude. Against Maryland he had multiple possessions where he only saw the basket, not teammates. Especially one where he got the rebound, brought the ball down the floor, let the defense get set, and then drove right into the teeth of it to throw up a wild shot.

He's been very erratic on offense lately, and a bit of a ball hog when he touches it.

You can tell Bradley has lost all confidence in his game right now. If he could just do a blow by one time and finish at the rim, maybe that’d get him going.

His performance though is why we really can’t afford to have bad JQ show up.

Yeah, maybe the week of rest will let Bradley reset, but I think it's going to take the offseason. He has never shot the ball from outside much, or well, but he had been one of our best at the rim finishers for a while and now he's not even doing that. He looks completely lost. Thankfully JQ turned the clock back a couple of years just in time.

Yeah it's bad. Jaden's been solid defensively lately but that may be a function of fresh legs from not playing much. He's a black hole offensively. Since everyone knows he doesn't shoot, they sag off him, which kills our spacing unless the other 4 guys out there are 3-point threats.

I'd be interested to see how much worse our offensive efficiency is the last couple months with lineups featuring Bradley and either Bediako or Pringle out there together.

At this point you just have to hope Jaden plays good defense, takes care of the ball, and picks his spots to drive to the basket.

We just need him to give us 8-10 minutes of disciplined time off the bench to spell JQ and not be a liability. He did a decent job of that against Maryland.

Re-watching our game at Houston, it's amazing seeing the regression of some of our key players over the course of the season and the improvement from others.

Bradley was just amazing with strong finishes at the rim. Griff was really contributing offensively and playing with a confident aggressiveness and Mark was knocking down all his shots.

Mark has me the least worried in regards to getting back to his pre-Miles self, but we really need more from Bradley and I'm not super confident we'll see much more from him the remainder of this season.

What has kept us elite is the fact that we now have March JQ, Chuck has developed into a true monster down low and Miller was able to round out his skillset and can now contribute even when he's not getting anything beyond the arc.

If we were to regain just a margin of the contributions we were getting from some of these guys from earlier in the season, I would never fear a loss ever again.

Yea, I mean JQ turning into the best version of himself on the offensive end and becoming a legitimate pest on the defensive end makes this team's floor even higher.

When he's playing at a peak level physically, mentally and confidence wise he is as good as any offensive point guard in the country. And he is that right now. You cannot stay in front of him, he has 100 different little stutter moves, he's incredibly at the rim and oh by the way he's shooting 41% from 3PT over the last 5 games since the SECT started and is 20 of his last 22 (91%) at the free throw line dating back to Feb 1.

Yep. He's looked good defensively in the tournament. He hasn't found his shot again. But he's been more of a non factor than a liability.

yeah. He was looking great and was incredible finishing at the rim. But that's all he's got right now. Until he develops his jump shot, teams will cheat on him to stop the drive. Thank God as he's fallen off, Quin has started balling.

Ever since that big game at Auburn...Griffen has fallen off completely. So odd. He was big time for us because he’s 6’6 and can get clean looks on catch and shoot opportunities but his shot is way off now. It’s barely hitting a different part of the rim almost every shot.

I know no one wants to bring it up but with the era we’re in currently if Quinerly and Sears both return next year I’d be shocked if Bradley didn’t hit the portal. I don’t want to see that happen but I feel like it’s an inevitability if JQ comes back.

Hit shot has fallen off but he's doing a lot of other stuff well. He had an ugly few games in Nashville with turnovers and seeming to be kind of out of it, but other than that he's still defended and passed really well.

I would - Bradley will still play a ton and then be the #1 guy his junior year. He's in the perfect place to teach a guy with a good shot (which he has) how to turn that into a very good outside shot (our history with that is unimpeachable).

I mean it's always possible because it's college sports in 2023, but I really would be surprised if that happened.
