Nah, there has been nothing like the Saban era at Bama in all of college sports. Closest would maybe be UCLA with Wooden.

Wooden won 10 championships and 7 in a row. Wooden accomplished more and Saban is second overall in your argument. What Saban has accomplished in Football could be matched with playoff expansion, but no one will win 7 NCAA basketball championships in a row.

We need to set the 3 pts attempted in a Final 4 game record tonight. If they fall will remain to be seen, but we can accomplish that goal just by putting up shots.

They won 3 in the span that Bama football won 6. UConn also missed the whole damn tournament 5 years in a row during that span. So no, not at all like Bama.
