I started rewatching our game against Clemson from back in Nov. because I really couldn't remember what happened in that game.

Still in the first half, but so far we just look very sluggish and have missed a ton of open shots. I'm not seeing anything particularly scary that Clemson was able to do.

I haven't rewatched but my memory of the game:

Clemson shot 50% from 3pt and closer to 60% from the field. They presented some real problems for us with their skilled front court particularly their center who has 3pt range and capable post skills. Still, the basket was as big as the ocean for their complimentary players that night.

Alabama, on the other hand, had a pretty abysmal shooting day. Again, Clemson caused some of it but our guys were not hitting their normal clip on open shots.

Also, I wanna say that Wague got big minutes at center and got harassed by Hall's versatility.

Ultimately Saturday is going to come down to who got better since December. The optimism in "hey they can't shoot like they did in December twice" is valid but every game is its own unique outcome...I do know that PJ Hall is a problem for us.

My hope is we can play Hall straight up and not get killed by the center struggling with the versatility of this game...and the guards and wings just lock down everyone else. Hall blew us up but it was the insane efficiency of his supporting cast that downed Alabama.

First time I’ve read their forum. OMG, they are comparing themselves to Bama-even in basketball!!!
It’s incredibly “little brother”-ish but not quite the correct analogy. Brothers are rivals but stick together against outsiders. Barners have a pathological hatred of all things Bama. It’s unhealthy for a lot of rhem.

Need an update on Pringle. He was obviously not the same after the injury. How long does a heel bruise take to heal? What drugs can we give him?

1-4 week type injury in terms of healing. I imagine playing is a pain tolerance and management issue.

Great job by Oats this season. I didn’t believe that they had a chance to be very far above 500 in the regular season, and I certainly didn’t believe that we could make this run. My goodness, I don’t know how they’ve done it

He was a liability with the injury. He stonewalled their center that one time but couldn't jump or move his feet. Had a bad foul or two. We need him

I wonder if wrightsell will be out vs clemson

My expectation on Pringle and Wrightsell is they're not available and somebodies are going to have to step up if they want to cut down a net.

If we were to win without Pringle and Wrightsell. Having them come back for the final four would feel like this team is destined to win it all.

And hopefully Illinois beats Uconn

Got a bad one when I was a kid jumping out of a barn loft. Dr. made an insert for my shoe and I kept on playing football with a slight limp.

Was a RB/WR/CB so I wasn't just standing around.

I’d be shocked if Pringle doesn’t play tomorrow.

I have rewatched the last 1:38 with joyful glee. But I tell you what, after Sears made the layup to cut it to 1, and NC had the ball, the officials really swallowed the whistle on #24 for NC for an illegal screens. I mean it was agregious! Never set, still moving and into our guy. We were fortunate that same guy took that 3 and missed it. Had he hit that, that missed call would have been the reason we probably lost and it wasn't even questionable. But, he missed, and the rest is done! ROWWW TIDE!

Don’t let all the talk about Herb Jones being the best wing defender in the NBA distract you from the fact that he’s top-15 in both three-point percentage (42.2%) and true shooting percentage (64.5%) and also one of the best transition players in the league (1.38 PPP, 71.0% EFG)

If he is limping around like he did post-injury last night he will be a huge liability. But Wague has regressed so much he hasn’t been playable for more than a couple minutes here or there against any decent competition. We may have a problem. We don’t need to have Nelson playing 20 plus minutes at the 5 dealing with Clemson. Foul trouble and the physicality wears on him and affects his game.

Anyone else thinking about Darius Miles today? Watching the video someone posted of the post game with Rammer Jammer playing I remember him always dancing with the cheerleaders or Big Al after a win. I think probably a really good kid that made a series of bad decisions one night.

According to Nate in the PC after the game, this is actually an injury Pringle has been dealing with all year.

I fall on the side of him being completely innocent of any criminal actions related to that night.
