Griffin played his arse off defensively….that might have made him tired and effected him on offense

Griffen did a phenomenal job defending and some of his shots went down and popped out.

The guys that were on was Cosby and Walters...Coach got to play them more.

Was probably worried about their defense.

That’s the difference Knecht makes. Commands so much attention they just whip it around until someone else has a wide open shot. Our shot quality was terrible compared to theirs.

Oh well, need to win these next two.

That's all you can ask for but I will say this...

Jarin missed 2 wide open three's
Rylan missed 2 wide open three's

Late in the second half.

Sam Walters was taking guys off the dribble, hitting free throws, and playing good defense.
Davin Cosby was on the verge of going off but we didn't use him like we should've.

Phenomenal game by Nick Pringle though.

I wouldn't say Walters consistently played good defense, but he wasn't a complete turnstile like usual

I don’t know what oats saw that made him think Stevenson gave us a chance to win down the stretch. He’s a kid and he’s honestly not ready for this level of ball. This game honestly shows why it’ll be hard for oats to win a championship with his current philosophy. He’s a great coach and we’re so fortunate to have him but of course everyone has a flaw. In the last three minutes of this game we were through prayers from deep while Tennessee calmly kept making the extra pass to an open shooter.

Tough loss. Thought Sears and Griffen panicked with some of their shot selection late. Was also very pleased with the defensive effort. Like some have said, Tennessee is a better team and deserves to win the conference this year. It's hard to be too upset all things considered. We fought like hell and it was a great environment in Coleman. Hopefully we can move on quickly and avoid laying another egg on the road Tuesday.

No, but it’s “interesting” to see you literally say the opposite of what you said before the game.

Before the game you didn’t care if Knecht scored 40 as long as the other guys didn’t beat us.

After the game, you could take the loss because Knecht didn’t beat us.

Maybe pick a side and stick with it, and possibly research your statements before saying something that is opposite to what’s actually happened this season. You don’t have to, but I may need to stop reading your posts or learn to just let you say the sky is green without responding

Griffen isn't a great off-the-dribble guy and he wasn't on a heater that would qualify him to take those shots that he took down the stretch. I'm appreciative of everything he's done this year, but he sunk our chances down the stretch.

It sucks because you want him confident enough to take the shot, but smart enough to know it's not a high-percentage look he needs to be taking.

Well, to be fair Vescovi is 30 years old, Knecht is a 5th year guy. Zeigler is a 3rd year guy. They are experienced.

Well stop reading them lol. It ain't gone hurt me one bit.

Ziegler and Jordan-James won the game.
BAMA ALLOWED extra possession for them on the offensive end and we paid for it.

Simple as that.

Ugh, frick Tennessee. But, they're the better team this year.

I thought this was Pringle's best game at Bama though.

Griffen panicked. He should've went directly at Knecht on the very first pull up because he doesn't defend well.

To be honest, Stevenson was not the cause of the loss in this game. I don't know why you're looking for him as the reason for your defeat. What if Nelson hadn’t been sent off for 5 fouls? What if Griffen had shot better without FG 2-11? What if Sears and Estrada had made 3-point shots in the second half? There is no end to finding the cause of defeat. Cosby has not been able to play since playing -4 points. Walters is FG 1-3, but it would have been nice if he played a little more.

Joka so many loose balls this season in our hands that we fumbled leading to the opponent getting wide open baskets
