We get completely overawed when playing blue bloods, it seems like.
This team suffers from stage fright.
Hope they make me look stupid in the second half.
Worst 1st half of the year.

Honestly, we didn’t play well against UF and were fortunate to win. We’re not playing well right now and better figure it out fast if we want to win the conference (Wrightsell being out hurts, but shouldn’t cause us to fall apart).

Not sure if guys are tired (physically or mentally), or if our lack of rim protection and poor perimeter defense has finally caught up to us. Hope we can figure it out as we really need to win the next 2.

BAMA needs its guards to attack the rim.

The biggest problem in the first half was that players were replaced too quickly after the game started. Regardless of whether Stevenson made a mistake or not, replacing him after 4 minutes was a bad decision. We should have kept the starter a little longer.

Also, perhaps because they are conscious of interior defense, they are using help defense excessively and unnecessarily. That's why Kentucky is easily creating 3-point shooting opportunities.

BAMA has 9 fricking TOs.

Honestly we have even more than that because so many of those alley-op passes were off.

We not only lost easy points we ended up losing the possession

I think they have. They just have missed a few layups or mess up the pass.

Doesn't help Pringle struggles on both sides of the ball and before the last couple games has been an automatic negative

KY was getting wide open layups and dunks. We switched to allowing wide open 3s. We don’t have the rim protection to run guys off the 3 point line, and we don’t have the perimeter defenders to play them straight up. It’s either give up the lane or the 3, and KY took advantage of whichever we decided to give them.

Ole Miss getting absolutely railed at home by SC. They will be another desperate team Wednesday night

Momentum took a big swing with Bama leading 22-17, Pringle was playing well to that point. Nelson dumps him a point blank dunk he fumbles then goes up for dunk, gets blocked Griffin steals relay pass to go in for easy layup. Misses that and then we just fell apart.

The difference in athleticism is GLARING. They have a bunch of guards who are all longer and faster than our guards. Sears
and Estrada both struggle in these kind of matchups.

We generally play well after getting smoked too though.

100%. You go up 7 there and might see them start to press. Instead they get an easy transition 3 and it’s 22-20.

The first dozen shots of of the break need to be from behind the arc for BAMA. Keep KY shooting from back there, too.
