That SC home blowout is looking better and better. Can’t believe they just beat KY at home by 17, and followed that with road wins at Tenn and at UGA (after losing to UGA at home earlier this season). Glad we don’t have to go to SC on a return trip and will be interesting if we play them again in the SEC tourney.

I’d love to play USC in the SEC tourney over having to play Auburn, UK, or Tennessee.

ETA: this is not to discredit them or what Lamont has done this year. Seriously impressive stuff.

At home, against a Wichita St. team with a losing record. Thankful for his service, but glad he went to Memphis

He has waaaay more potential than Petty did driving to the basket. Petty had an incredibly loose handle. Griffen is also an inch or two taller and I'd say he's generally more athletic. Keon Ellis is probably a closer comparison and he's hanging around on a pretty good Kings team.

This is a dated reference now, but Griffen was looking a bit Kennedy Winston-ish in the second half of the Georgia game.

I don’t understand why so many of our fans still root for JQ. He’s a disloyal arrogant ball hog. We are much better off with Estrada and Wrightsell. Hope JQ enjoys the NIT this year.

I try to just remember him for being a really big part of two very good Sec title teams and tourney teams. Add to that the fact that he ripped the ball away from Broom and spiked it off of him and he really gets a lot of free passes from me (joking, kind of)

Speaking of former players. Juwan Gary is easy for everyone to support and he has carved out a nice career at Nebraska and that Nebraska team is tough

He bragged about coming back to win another sec championship and bolted shortly after. His comments today were disgraceful. I don’t understand why any Alabama fan would root for a mercenary who’s treated our university with such contempt.

I'm not saying he isn't a butthole. But he was a part of some great moments. It's hard for me to despise him and still love those teams. I don't actively root for him, but in today's college athletics we are going to see guys come and go a lot and make a lot of decisions that seem selfish.

I don’t despise him. I don’t wish him ill, but I’m not rooting for him and don’t understand why so many of our fans fanboy him. Ultimately him leaving was best for us but the way he handled it sullied his legacy for me.

Pringle is not dressed out but is on the floor with the team watching warm-ups. Hopefully a good sign he’s not gone for good.

I get it. Do agree that him leaving was probably for the best. It's allowed Sears to blossom and I like Wrightsell and Estrada a lot as well.

That's not JQ's full quote.

They are trying to paint a picture against Bama.

I think you might be exaggerating a bit. There's a few Bama fans that don't hate him and think he is (sometimes) a good player.
