People get all torn up about the yards our defense gave up but what about good our offense. Every expert basically said that if was a shoot out we would not win. If not for the fumble the score may have 56-35 at best for them.
Our offense looked great especially our oline with the amount of time AJ had.

You must remember things differently than I. Mallet almost beat us (2nd play in 2010 was a long swing pass for a TD where Lester missed the tackle). Aaron Murray really did have an oustanding SECCG. And Stafford was incredible in the 2nd half of the 08 game.
I'm not remembering things differently. We had QBs play great, some we hung on, some we crushed.
And 2010 is a bad, bad example. We didn't win the championship that year, right? Which makes my point: this isn't championship level defense.
Not yet anyway.

I know it's A&M's defense, but the return of what looks like a solid Offensive line. But not a great one (think CK just moved again).
Happy that Fowler had a major comeback from the last game.
Happy that Vinnie exercised the demon's from last year, in a big way (even though he gave up a TD. I blame the defense not paying attention after that out of bounds catch ruled a catch and run...)
While Yeldon had a good game, another costly fumble and the penalty. I had been on a Yeldon > Gurley train since last year, but not anymore, sadly. He needs to go off on everyone from here on out to change my opinion.
Worried that Cooper's ankle is still bothering him, but thankful that other WR's are picking up the slack. Hope Norwood isn't hurt serious.
Loved going to the Tight Ends. Howard will be a beast, but don't sleep on Vogler.
I know the Defense gave up all those stats, but I don't see them being put in this kind of stressful situation again this year, Unless we meet a clone of Evans (who really is why A&M was in the game, not JFF)

Anytime you can get a win on the road against a #6 team is a great win I don't care how it happens, I'm happy with the win now lets go get better and build off this 2-0 start.

It was good to see Kenny Bell get a TD.

Coach Nuss deserves some credit he called a fantastic game today. Also Jon Fulton needs to get big. He got beat to hell and back today.

Actually this is false. You don't know how he would perform against that defense.
You on the other hand have seen how he performed against last years championship team and this years hopeful championship team.
No, you're wrong. We could clearly see qualitatively and quantitatively that the 2012 Alabama defense was a significant step back from the 2011 defense. 2011 >>> 2012. 2011 > 2009.
2012 Lester < 2011 Lester
2012 HCD <<< 2011 Barron
2012 Milliner and Belue < 2011 Kirkpatrick and Menzie
2012 linebackers < 2011 linebackers
Need I go on?
I wasn't even watching football in 2008, but I did my research about the hype.

I think my idea of what I thought CNS would do on the defensive side was better than CNS 3-2-6/3-1-7 , you have to use your great athletes to bring pressure and force JFF into quick decisions.
CNS went with a plan a doesn't ordinarily believe in , sit back and wait.
Of course 2 or 3 of those prayers JFF threw up for grabs could just as easily been picked off.
Another thing I want to add , TAMU never had the ball in the 2nd half down by ONLY 1 score.
ROLL DAMN TIDE
