Same odds we have had here the entire time. Again. Show me a scenario minus TT losing where we don’t get the 10 spot? It doesn’t exist.

The fact that it's even a question after SMU got in last year proves how much of a farce this whole system is. They can't go back and forth on whether losing an extra game only ~10 other teams play should count against you. It either does, and we need to scrap conference championship games, or it doesn't, and these games only count for the purpose of determining a conferences champion. Going back and forth on it just proves that they pick their field and reverse engineer their reasoning.

I'm with Boz...wait till they update the predictor sometime today. It should be, win or lose against uga, a high % to be in.

Scenario is simple - Miami’s last win was a blowout of a team the committee likes.

We lose, they jump Miami over us.

What’s insane is that the committee is being headed by an AD that is so bad at his first job as AD that their fans want him fired. He botched his coaching search and has been an absolute joke as committee chairman

The college football leadership decided “let’s give this incompetent fool more responsibility”. And he only got the gig because the guy before him had to resign in scandal.

This system needs a huge overhaul.

Not just jump us. Jump two conference champ runner up. It’s just not likely but let’s hope we don’t have to rely on them.

Bama is the #1 seed in the SEC. Losing the SECCG can’t push us out. It just can’t.

They could but that's because I believe they'll bump ND out.

No chance. They would gladly put ND in over a 3 loss bama.

That’s not even an option IMO.

ND is 9 and we are 10. Solid. With a loss in the SEC game.

Let’s suppose for arguments sake that Alabama loses to UGA and Ohio State gets blown out by Indiana and Duke wins the ACCCG. Bama and Duke get left out and Ohio State loses their first round bye slot and has to play an extra game in Round 1. You will see championship games get ditched so fast it will make your head swim.

They are setting things up to kick us out of the playoffs with a loss.

This whole format is retarded.

So, so true.

Didn’t OSU get in one year over PSU that was a 2 loss B10 champion? I think there is technically already precedent for it, although 2 G5 champions being ranked over the ACC champion would be absolute chaos

The SEC will be changing the format or outright remove the SECCG if that happens. Disney is playing with fire

I’m telling you now, I could see them dropping us a spot or two in Tuesdays ranking to set up an obvious “must win” for us.

I dont see them dropping us with a win over auburn but they are sure setting up things, media wise, to drop us multiple spots with a loss to Ga. This committee for some reason doesn't like Bama. You can't rely on what the committee has done in years passed this committee is different. Hopefully we won't have to worry about that with a win.

Because the acc champion will have 5 losses if Duke wins it.

It’s political. ESPN hates our university and program. They’ve demonized us. It’s gotten to the point now where I wish that we could think about going independent like Notre Dame.

Two weeks ago I still thought beating Auburn would be enough. But it’s not going to be. We needed just a tiny bit of chaos - one of maybe four or five teams to lose once - and it hasn’t happened. I can’t really complain too much. We laid an egg against a below average FSU team and shot ourselves in the foot against OU.

I think the SEC needs to diversify itself from the Disney conglomerate. I think that starts with the SEC leaving the CFP at their earliest possible exit and form an SEC championship tournament for the top 8 that we sell games off to CBS, Fox, NBC, Turner, etc.
