Tua is a just a pure leader.
I think he has the mentality to handle the ridiculous amount of hype that will be coming his way as well.
This stemming from 1 half of football is amazing.

These odds stem from 1 half of football and who he plays for. His odds wouldn't be 7/1 if his team was projected to be 7-6 next year.
Generally speaking, the Heisman trophy is an award for "Best QB/RB on a Team Who Still Has Legitimate Title Hopes in November".

Alright huddie, I'll tee one up for you.
What are the odds Saban will play the best QB on the team ? 3 to 1 ?

Y'all better temper your expectations on this kid. He's going to have some growing pains. He's going to have a few games where he looks downright pedestrian.
I expect something along the lines of AJ's 2011 season. Despite his lightning in a bottle moment, he's going to have some painful learning experiences next season.

As you know, I've thought Tagovailoa was the better qb all year, or at least by the time he got some experience. Saban's "infatuation" (as another poster called it) with Hurts gives me pause for concern, and his comments like "it's not imperative we make a choice now" is disconcerting, but I just don't see how it could actually be a question anymore as to who is the better qb, and better for the team. With the hiring of Enos, and the fact the team responded so well to Tagovailoa, and not only in the title game, makes me think surely it's a done deal. Lord I do hope so.

Mr., This fanbase just lived through two years of a QB who's first read was to run out of bounds.
Nothing about watching Tua play is going to be painful. Tua will be the conductor - this offense his orchestra. Together they will make masterpieces every Saturday.

Vegas must think he will start.

It would be shocking news if he didn't. No one keeps an ace in the hole back up QB for when you get behind in big games. With that said a Saban coached QB winning a Heisman is pipe dream. It would have to be a really weak Heisman race. I don't see a QB under his tenure every having games like Watson had vs us. Not his style.

He's going to be very good, but he's going to throw more picks than we're use to. Gunslingers do that. Prepare yourselves.

Yeah and we have dipshites that'll tear him down the first time he throws 2 picks just like they did with jalen.

I welcome the picks.
Means they're pushing the ball down the field and not being safe as all hell.

WIth Mike Locksley as the OC I'd say more like 10/1

Don't worry, be happy. It's "Tua's team" now.

Thats crazy... I love Tua but hes probably not going to put up heisman numbers because we have an elite core of RB's and running the ball is our identity. I also see Kelly Bryant on that list and he isnt that good. His team makes him look good and im not sure he starts over Trevor Lawrence

Huddie, you have been the proverbial voice crying in the wilderness. Well done good and faithful servant. But now, Tua must increase and you must decrease.
Just hold on for a few more months. There will likely be fake news about a qb competition during spring. Board insiders may warn us about turnovers in practice. Just don’t lose your head over it.
