Had we continued with Hurts, we'd surely have lost that game.

but he didn't. It was literally his direct decision to make the change. and we won due to that decision.

Funky, you and I both know it was Huddie who made the call. Now shut the hell up and live with it.

I would appreciate it if you guys would keep the quarterback debate in the appropriate thread because this is the Tua for Heisman thread. Some of us are getting tired of you shitting on every thread on the board. Thanks in advance.

All this stuff is great, but can we just let Tua be a 1st year starter and get his feet wet before we start talking about his Heisman odds?

I know nobody here is saying "he can win the Heisman", but it's not fair to him to set that level of expectation when he's literally never started a meaningful game. Really good QB is more than enough for me.

I am happy with that. Football is incredibly hard to predict - especially when we have a full offseason to go.

Offense will hopefully lean heavily on the oline and the incredible stable of backs we will have available next year. Plus with what looks to be a weak schedule (could certainly turn out to be harder than expected) I would imagine 2nd string qb gets in very early a good bit so Tua may not have the opportunity to put up the same stats as some of these other qb's in different systems.

Well, it's just Vegas odds. As you note, I don't see anybody in the thread actually predicting that for him. Speaking of odds, it's probably not real good odds that any Saban quarterback will win the Heisman. With Saban, it's not even a sure thing that Tua will be the starter at Alabama next season, but for right now, it's fun to see that Tagovailoa has better odds than any other SEC players.
