My only thing is that both this game and South Carolina, we put EVERYTHING on a 7 minute drive in the 4th. It’s worked once, failed once
I watched the South Carolina game with a former Bama player and he was bitching the entire final drive that we were taking too long. We had to have the 2 point conversion in that game too.

Agree - when we scored to go up 1, got a 3 and out and got the ball back you have to find a way to go capitalize. And we gave up a sack fumble immediately.
This has been an ongoing problem with our offense in the second half of games. We cannot "put a team away" when we're in positions to do so. Old school folks call it "killer instinct", some call it "putting the nail in the coffin". But either way our offense in second halves of games hasn't been able to do this all season when given the opportunities.

I'm not going to spend two weeks pissing and shitting myself over playing a 4-6 Auburn team without a head coach.
I bet we win by 10 points or less. Which is garbage. Hate to be negative, but that's just the way this team has been lately.

The barn would have beaten Oklahoma if the refs had not given the game to Oklahoma. I think those Oklahoma refs got put on the sideline by the SEC after that game? That was just a cheat by Oklahoma. And I think one of the other SEC losses for da barn was also due to blown calls by the SEC refs. So, my only warning about their record is that it could have been a lot different.

I mean AU has been a tough opponent for every team they’ve played. For example Georgia only beat them by 10 and that was a controversial game. They’re one of those teams in which the record doesn’t indicate what kind of opponent they actually are. Kind of like that Nebraska team a few years ago that went 3-9 with like 8 of their losses being by single digits
It’d be heart attack inducing but I’d take a 1 point win

If I was into gambling I would be all over this line, and it wouldn’t be betting on the school I graduated from.

The line is likely going to be pretty low based on the advanced metrics : -6.5 to -7.5 or so.

I mean, they created those turnovers with their havoc, so somewhat
That pick 6 was an obvious defensive hold I’m not even worried about it because it should’ve been a 14 point swing in our favor.
Absent a couple plays we beat them by 2+ scores IMO.
We moved the ball on them at an elite level, it was an absolute fluke game.

Bama has gotten lucky several times in the last few weeks and was due for a series of bad bounces. Now that it’s out of the way we are fortunate to control our own destiny at this late stage of the season. You can’t ask for more than that I’m afraid. These guys need to respond like last time a rattle off another 6-7 wins in a row

Same for us but notice when we get fricked, it gets zero attention outside of Bama message boards and CFB Nerds...

Its coaching, this OU offense has been putrid all year. The team should have been drilled all week, no turnovers, dont force it, take a sack but hold onto the ball. If not for turnovers we beat them easily.
Against better teams like UGA you go all out, but against this OU teas drill the basics, NO TURNOVERS and we win.

Definitely the world isn’t ending. No need for the hyperbole but is this the best we can expect for the next few years? Hoping to beat a horrible Auburn to get to 10-2 to barely get into a 12 team playoff where we likely won’t get past round 1 or 2. Doesn’t sound beyond meh to me.
