I really am not trying to pile on to whatever happened in this thread, and also no offense, but if you always declare that everything sucks, and then one of those things does suck, it's not clairvoyance or knowledge. It's just the law of averages. If you fall out of a boat enough times, you'll eventually hit water.

What I mean is that he sucks as a quarterback bro. He is much worse than most of our fans realize. Look at his stats in every big game he played in. Down right awful. He could run on less than average defenses and throw the ball short.

Tyler battled a ton of injuries that we weren't privy to. Sort of unfair to call him a bust. I believe the last injury was a recurring neck issue.

Ryan Anderson had a very similar path. Not ready to give up on him. He was just super soft his first season imo. Last season was slightly discouraging given the LB injury issues and he still didn’t play but shite, some dudes just dominate inferior competition and then don’t know how to react when someone is just as good and they aren’t having the same success.

It irritates me when people label players -- especially players who have yet to finish their careers -- as "busts." I came in here specifically to mention Tana Patrick and Jerrell Harris, but others have beat me to it.
Ben Davis may yet turn out to be an outstanding linebacker for Alabama. I wouldn't give up on the young man.

Neither one of those guys were consensus 5 stars ranked #1 at their position. Relative to where Ben Davis was ranked I think it is fair to label him a bust. Entering his third year he is nothing more than a scout team player that can't even crack a spot on special teams. I know it wasn't cool to call him out but the truth is the truth.
Edited to add that I am just talking football here. Not everybody works out and not everybody lives up to their recruiting ranking. Boz pretty much labeled him a bust last year with his first hand reports and I really don't remember you guys calling him stupid for it.
It doesn't bother me that the kid is a bust and I wish him the best and hope he proves me wrong and goes from scout team to starter.
