Sure wasn’t expecting this…kind of sad. Kid wasn’t as bad as some of you portrayed him!

If he makes a roster and gets paid I’m happy for him. He gave his all for Bama.

I'm with you. Disappointing how the guy gets slammed. He gave his all and damn sure contributed to our wins this season. Obviously new talent coming in will displace his roll with the team. Wish him the best...

Young guys on roster and he’s not going to improve his draft stock. It makes sense. Super happy for a kid thatvgave all he had

We’ll pray for them. You can’t match their hatred and venom. Just lies for years, they’ve said them so long they believe them now.

If Slade makes an NFL roster, I may also have a chance.

Yes!

Slade may not have been a superstar, but he damn sure gave 100% and was the antithesis of, say, J. Billingsley. No doubt, he put in the work and had the right attitude and that's why Saban kept him on the field. I'm ok with that. That should be rewarded.

I wish him all the best!

The guy actually made the utmost of his time at Bama, guess he could have been a doctor or gotten another degree, but damn. The kid was solid and he never caused a problem. I’m happy for him. If he ever wants a higher degree, I have faith that he’ll be able to to afford and get it. I’m proud of him

Serious question: Is there really a dime's worth of difference between Slade Bolden and Richard Mulaney?

Because fans absolutely loved Mullaney. So why the problem with Slade?

Yeah, but this is Alabama. We shouldn't have to make that choice.

We don't do Rudy.

We should get the work ethic AND the super star ability--See, Julio Jones, Devonta Smith, etc.

I appreciate his effort and contributions, but him seeing the field is more of a reflection of our WR bench, and what's gone wrong in recruiting there. He was a possession receiver at best--would ANYONE trade him for Kevin Norwood? He's not going to beat anyone on a toss up (Smitty), he's not going to beat you with speed (Williams), he's not making anyone miss (Jeudy), and he's not going to stiff arm/lay the wood (Julio).

Yes, I'm sure he did the best he could do.

Then someone should beat him out, the faster athletes couldn't though!
