This may be a case where Coach Saban encouraged Slade to transfer or try his luck with the draft. Playing time at Alabama might be difficult to find next season. I hope so.

Or Slade got his Masters and has started for two years and doesnt have to prove anything to arm chair QBs who know nothing. Good luck to the young man.

Serious question: Is there really a dime's worth of difference between Slade Bolden and Richard Mulaney?

Because fans absolutely loved Mullaney. So why the problem with Slade?

Maybe not. Did Mullaney drop multiple passes in a game that we lost? Including one that hit him in the chest in the end zone that would have changed the result of that game?

I honestly don't remember.

I don't think Mullaney ever caught a touchdown pass either in OT or in the Iron Bowl, and certainly not both.

Mullaney's and Bolden's stats are pretty close.

Bolden: 42/408/9.7, longest 29, 3 TDs
Mullaney: 38/390/10.3, longest 29, 5 TDs

I wasn’t talking shite about the guy, I was just thinking maybe we’ll be much better at WR next year. Because we sure as hell aren’t going to win with the TE and Slade like we witnessed in the National Championship game. Of course I wish any Bama player the best. Don’t be a Arm chair dickhead.

Saban sees him everyday as did his hs coach. They both laud Slade's quickness.

We’ll see at the combines :))

Metchie during the first half of the season when he lead the team in drop passes including 3 in the loss to a&m. But now are praying for Metchie to come back.
