What are you, CIA?

I think Homeland Security might carry those too. Can't recall exactly.

Ah one of my favorite discussions. Typically a Glock 19 with an RMR, from time to time I throw a staccato P in there. Have had 365xl and a few 43x but the 19 always makes it was back in.

43 is a small single stack 9
43x has a bit longer grip than the 43
26 is a small double stack 9
48 is a medium single stack 9
19 is a medium double stack 9
19x has a 17 grip and a 19 slide (9mm)
17 is the largest 9mm in this group

42 is a small 380

other numbers are different calibers - 40, 10mm, 45, 357sig, 38super

My personal favorite is a 19 - but it is a little too big to be concealable if you tuck your shirt in, which I do. 43x fits my hand better than the 43, but again, the grip shows through my shirt

On me, usually a S&W CSX. G19 sometimes with heavier clothing, otherwise it's in a bedside table box.

Love this weapon. Curious do you have the E2 version or the older model?

used to carry the 43X. Sold it to my son and it is his EDC. Great concealable weapon. I hear you can get even higher capacity mags for those now. Like maybe 14 loads.

They do, I got my wife one with the extended mag. Makes it much more comfortable to shoot for average to larger hands.

When I was in federal land, I used basically a bike tire inner-tube and electrical tape to make a stand my trigger hand. It worked like a charm. Some guys at a shooting school I went to were doing it and I tried it, loved it.

I used to run an RMR (and like it for competition) however, on my service pistol and real life application I went to blacked out rears with a tritium front. Draw and fire was much faster, for me.

Shooting is a highly personal as for attachments and what not. I’ve seen some strange things that work for people.

You're going with front sight focus?

Friend has a Staccato and loves it. The only thing is that it is not so reliable.

What kind of holster do you use for tucking your shirt in?

It all depends on where I am going and what I am wearing.I grew up shooting S&W so it stuck.

Old S&W .38 Special on my belt

S&W 9mm SD9VE shouder harness under a jacket

S&W 380 MP Shield cross draw belt

I was taught to "finger site" as a kid. Now I think that is called PSA (point shoot aiming).

I go back in forth with the RMR and Holosun 507 T. I honestly prefer the Holosun because the eotech style reticle. I am so used to those in my rifles I think it’s quicker for me because of familiarity. My staccato is blacked out rear with tritium orange front, as is my 43x. I do think I’m faster with the dot though.

I have heard that and with the tolerances it wouldnt surprise me that there would be more required maintenance. Speaking on a 1 of 1 I have; it’s been rock solid. Probably 2500 to 3k rounds without a single failure. It is also like a cheat code to shoot fast.

I have two - an inside the waistband left handed leather and alien kevlar holster - if I wear a sport coat or suit, just fine. But with a tucked dress-shirt or polo, clearly visible. I often carry my 43 in my pocket because of that. Not the best situation, I know, but when I am in my truck, I use a magnet for fast access

I usually go untucked now. I will wear a sport coat sometimes. I had one of the alien gear Cloak Tuck IWB holsters for a while.

What kind of magnet do you use and where do you like to mount it?

I have a Staccato CS and P. They're awesome. Not sure what reliability issues your friend has. Basic cleaning and simple maintenance can cure a lot of ills.
