Yes hate losing any player but we were going to in the end.
Downs I agree will be hard to replace but a QB that has yet to take a snap in college not concerned with.

I'm excited to see if Alabama can win a title with the players who want to be in Tuscaloosa as badly as the fans. We have nearly a quarter century of data that suggests otherwise but I believe in the scientific method and we have to test the other hypotheses too.

I really do think there need to be a players only team meeting. Those that are the nucleus laying it down to all the others. Either you are with us or against us. If there's any doubt about whether to leave or not, leave now. Because from now going forward, we go to "work".

You're welcome to check my post history about the transfer rule changes and NLI. I, like most, have never been a fan.
You're surprised people are most likely to complain when those rules are negatively affecting them, rather than when they're in their favor?

Tried to tell you guys this was my biggest fear with hiring DeBoer. This didn't need to be a rebuild. It's why Ohio State promoted Ryan Day...the issue is Nick retired without having a suitable coordinator waiting in the wings. Would you guys want Rees as HC if that kept Sayin? No thanks.
Would getting Kiffin or Lanning prevent all these transfers? I doubt it tbh but who knows.
Hopefully DeBoer is legit. That's all we can worry about now. Not roster retention. If he's legit then none of this will matter.
Also it was pretty obvious when Mack committed that someone was headed out. Yet ppl thought there was nothing to it somehow...read the tea leaves.

This is the 2nd biggest name we’ve lost but likely the least important. DeBoer won’t have any trouble developing a QB. The defense is the scariest thing right now.

I mean, Reuben got that Barn logo tattooed on him. Granted, Reuben isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but still. I get your point though.
At the risk of sparking a political argument, I will say that even as a person who has become more left leaning with age I find a lot of irony in the fact that a generation full of self-proclaimed socialists throw all that teamwork, we're in this together shite out the window the minute it becomes inconvenient for them like they're a bunch of C-suite corporate executives.

Yes. The answer is yes. There is almost no one on the Bama roster who was recruited by DeBoer. Almost every one of them already has a relationship with Kiffin and Lanning.
