This truly is sad, and downright embarrassing. What has happened to this football program? How can he just sit there and take this without getting back in that dudes face or at least his teammates standing up for him?? I'm sick and tired of this beta male behavior and mentality.

I don't blame him for not reacting and possibly getting a penalty and extending their drive. But yeah, his teammates should have shown some signs of life when they saw that happened. idk it was a dirty arse play on that UT olineman and should have been a penalty on him.

I just made a comment about this video in the Football Tidings thread. When I saw this, I couldn’t believe Lawson and Co. just let this slide. When someone would try this with Hightower back in the day, he would have thrown their arse to the ground.

Penalty or not, someone should've put that TX OL on his arse for that. We have ZERO killers on defense anymore.

Lawson isn’t soft at all. That was excessive on the Texas player. The officials should’ve done their job.

If he had pushed back he would've got flagged. Lawson was smart.

Bama's defense has been soft since 2018, nothing new here.

That 16 or 17 defense would have destroyed that O-lineman the next play.

Imagine someone *trying* that on Roland McClain or Reuben Foster.

Maybe someone would try, but they're regret it and after a 15 yard penalty that LB would probably make a play that lost Texas' offense 8 yards.

I appreciate not getting a penalty. But the dog is gone. Years past someone would have annihilated his arse over that. Ha we are what we used to destroy.

I understand not wanting to get a penalty and all of that, but... you have to get your lick back. He or one of his teammates should've made him pay for that within the next few plays. Anyone that has played sports ever knows how that works.

I get what you guys are saying but Lawson is the last person I would question about being soft. Lawson at least brings it every play

If they think Lawson is soft they didn’t watch the first two games. He was laying lumber out there Saturday night. And furthermore it’s easy to call a a 6’3 240lb man soft behind a keyboard.

Last year the defense got plenty of personal fouls and they were far worse than they were Saturday night.

That should have been a 15 yard penalty.

Amazing how this officiating crew who could see every thing we did wrong could miss that

I disagree. That's pretty much after the play, in plain sight to the face and not a pancake but a cheap shot.

How did the officials miss this? I don't see how they could have. Sure didn't miss anything Alabama did.

Had Lawson reacted it's 15 on Alabama I guarantee, Coach Saban isn't happy with him and you just help Texas.

Also want to point out that rules during Ragland era was different than what today's rules is.

Adversity. How is this bunch going to handle? They may have to resort to twitter if things really get tuff.
