Did you read my previous post in this thread? His contract stated that UT could fire him over Level II violations, and for violations made by his assistants. Nether of those type of violations would get him a show cause by the NCAA. He was a fool to even sign that contract imo.

You might want to re-think that in light of their Chancellor's comments

Just a general question for o people that may know, what did Flumer do to us? Give it to me in a nutshell

This is probably as decent a short summary as exists

Vols Fulmer told NCAA - Wash Post

He made it his mission to destroy us. We were cheating, as were a lot of people (including Tennessee).

quote:

In testimony Tuesday in U.S. District Court, Lang said that he was paid money by coaches at two other Southeastern Conference schools, Kentucky and Georgia. He also testified that Tennessee, Mississippi, Michigan State and Arkansas offered money for Means but never paid.

After all of this, Fulmer tampered to steal Eric Locke and told Santonio Beard, while a recruit, that "Alabama will be out of business in 2 years".

He did everything he could to kill us for things that he and his staff and dirty alums were doing, and he thought he had gotten away with it.

Yep, I already did (read my last post over on page 3).

Sounds like multiple level 1 violations. If true then Pruitt is definitely off limits for awhile.

They would have hired Leach the recruiting wouldn't be good but they wouldn't be looking a Level 1 violations either. Just all out brawls after bowl games.

Phil Fulmer says the "recruiting has been good" at a press conference announcing the firing of Jeremy Pruitt because of alleged recruiting violations.

Been trending this way for weeks. Jeremy Pruitt has told those around him this year if he gets fired, he'll just go back to Alabama and work for Saban again.

Need to make sure Agent Pruitt salts the ground on his way out. Can't risk anything growing back.

It goes even further for me than what George posted.

Fulmer got us even though he was doing the same thing, but even worse just a few years later a UT booster named Dianne Sanford was caught paying Tee Martin WITH CHECKS and laundering them through a third person.

The NCAA let UT walk free as a bird, with no other explanation possible other than Fulmer played his get out of jail free card earned at Bama's expense.

Did I hear right that nothing was directly connected to Jermy? Only that he should have known what was going on and been proactive.

If so, he better be in TTown right now.
