Gotta think who would be LSUs or State's 3 ....
LSU would probably be looking at 3 of
Ole Miss
Texas AM
Texas
Florida
Arkansas
Alabama
Miss State would be looking at who after Ole Miss?
Vanderbilt?
Kentucky?

Bama has 2 true rivals: Auburn and Tennessee. The only reason Bama-LSU was big is because of Coach Saban. LSU hated him for coming to Alabama. They even burned him in effigy the first year they played there after he became coach at Bama. That game means nothing without Saban walking the sideline during that game. Forget LSU!

Interesting they are going to 9 but also keeping the Power 4 scheduling requirement for one of the out of conference games.

This time in 2030.
SEC goes to Round Robin format. Bottom three teams get relegated to Conference USA.

I think we can do better. We can have Trump come and declare a team the national champ after a big mid-season game. You know, he is a fan of coming to visit the Tide...just saying.
There is some history for this btw.

We'll get fricked in the arse with our permanent opponents while everyone else gets candy. Then we'll have to deal with every SEC team having a bye week. We'll be beat to shite by the end of the season and get passed over by a team like Indiana again who will cakewalk into the playoffs like a king.
That pedo looking phag Sankey needs to join Stephen Colbert in the unemployment line. frick him and this gay arse conference.

The problem with the bye weeks is partly the SEC FO but also the fact that schools get to fill their open weeks handed to them at their discretion.
We need to get to an NFL system where the schedules are handled by the conferences with negotiated deals with the other power conferences to fill out the 3 OOC games.

Should drop Overrated State from 2027. No sense beating ourselves up more with a 9 game conference schedule, then another SEC game if we make the championship.
The championship games will be the next thing to go. Big Ten wants them gone to expand the playoffs. The B1G wants it, therefore it will happen.

LSU isn’t getting rid of Ole Miss and vice versa. That rivalry goes way back and has a much better history than the other 2 you named.

I wish we’d just go back to west and east. Move Auburn and bama east. Move Missouri and Vanderbilt west. This permanent opponents with three teams makes schedules unequal. At least if they did this you’d have Texas, LSU Oklahoma and aTM as your top four in the west with Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee in the east. Then just rotate west opponents every two years.

I'm fine with LSU as our third IF it's fair. Don't give Bama those 3 and then give Tennessee Vandy and Kentucky.
I don't want to lose the home/home series scheduled with Ohio St and Notre Dame though. Getting those in BDS would be event games on campus.

UGA and Bama gets screwed in this scenario.
It should be UTk, Auburn, and Miss St.

It feels like Sankey is either reactive or he works for the B1G.

State has/had Kentucky as their permanent I think , so they would probably have Bama , OM, and Kentucky

A 26-28 team playoff is an absolute abomination. So, participation-trophyish.
