Do not wanna go to the Sugar Bowl. I really dislike that game

Any particular reason? I’d rather play some new blood like Kansas St as opposed to Clemson again. Although the sugar Bowl being an 11am kick this year is the peak of absurdity.

I want to play Tulane. I think it would be cool.
Definitely need to beat their arse though.

Might get your wish. I’m not convinced the committee won’t rearrange some things after Saturday. Would not be surprised at all if Tennessee ends up ahead of us and goes to the Sugar Bowl. Their fans would certainly be more excited for the trip, as evidenced by this thread.

LSU isn’t winning unless Georgia lets them…lol

More than that, I dislike Nawlins.

Sugar Bowl is absolutely the destination unless LSU manages to beat Georgia.
The Rose Bowl is looking to pass on Ohio State for Penn State to avoid a potential rematch of Ohio State and Utah. That would send Ohio State to the Orange Bowl versus the ACC champion.

I'm all for it.
Bama can improve their Sugar Bowl record under Saban to 2-3 and get a win over Kansas St.

Tulane in the Sugar would be awesome. Second choice would be Penn State.

If I were picking opponents , I would not want to play Tulane in the Sugar …. They would be fired up to play in a big bowl, at home and chance to knock off a big name in Alabama . Not to mention we may have an A DAY roster between portals and opt outs . Still believe in the team but not sure how much our guys would have to play for instead of a P5 school

That Utah team was very good. Finished number 2 in the nation.
Kansas St would have 4 losses, not that great.
Bama isn't going to have mass opt outs. Were there mass opt outs against Michigan after the 19 season? No, there wasn't. Saban got Jeudy and Ruggs to play, two 1st round picks. The two players that did opt out that year had a history of injury problems.
Young, Anderson and Gibbs will likely be the only opt outs. Turner and Braswell can replace Anderson. Jace and Roydell can replace Gibbs. Young can't be replaced, but Milroe will shred that weak Kansas St defense with his legs.

It’s either going to be Kansas St in the Sugar or Tulane/UCF in the Cotton. Those are the two possibilities assuming Georgia beats LSU (a very safe assumption).

I should add that if Ohio St makes the playoff somehow, that probably takes the Cotton off the table and instead brings the Orange against the ACC champion as the alternative to the Sugar.

Its important to finish top 5 for the image of the program. So give me a cup-game game we can get a W in, considering Young isn't going to play, and we can have a positive off-season to rebuild. Without Young playing, we have little offense.
