Probably not, but you do it on a regular basis and give the impression you do so intentionally.

I'm not sure if it was because it was the first recruiting class I really paid attention to, but man I believed everyone was gonna be studs.
Zo Lawrence shutting down Julio and AJ Green at the all star game, Jerrell Harris killing people in his highlights, DeVonta Bolton playing TE or LB, hoping Hood and Ray don't pick baseball, Corey Smith kicking during a windstorm, wondering how many times Kerry Murphy can be in a recruiting class, etc...

Personally I had the same feelings but I think it was because back in the Shula era anytime we signed a high 4-star or 5-star I was so through the roof that when we had 20 of them I just decided they all had to be awesome.

Exactly.
I remember Andre Smith being a huge deal, and for some reason I remember Prince Hall being a noted pull being from California(even though his ranking wasn't super high). Jimmy Johns too!
I still remember people freaking out about Julio wearing an Oklahoma hoodie while on the witness stand for a murder in Foley. Recruiting b crazy

What about Duron Carter? It’s still funny to me that we never saw him suit up. Dude is like Bigfoot. Lots of stories, but no known sightings.

Ah, perhaps you're just faster with vitriol than gratitude.
If you can find a post of mine that is cruel and bitter I am more than willing to apologize, but honestly I don't see it. In regards to showing you gratitude for complimenting a post of mine I do apologize. While no one else seems to require such acknowledgements I will be aware of yours moving forward. Honestly I don't get many of them anyway.

Jeeez, between posts here and Bama Rivals, Carter had to have been eligible and ineligible at least 20 separate times

I going to change it up a bit and point at the coach that most disappointed me.. Kuligowski and Enos. These two were suppose to be the best in the world at their positions and both seemed to under preform here with top athletes. Especially Kuligowski .. I was so damn happy when we landed him and he didn’t do shite.
I have another that is starting to make the list now that on staff, but o refuse to derail the thread with him..lol The jury is still out and I hope he had all the success.

Now you are seeking to twist my words. I never required acknowledgement. I wanted you to admit that you were quick to find fault and slow to express gratitude. I believe that's worth pointing out.
I also don't believe you should have taken offense whatsoever to my post about the SP+. But here we are.

I mean Q Williams had the most dominant season of any DT Saban has had at Alabama under him. I'm gonna give that credit to Dunbar though because he's always been my boy.
As for a player it's Vandarious Cowan. The kid has a massive ceiling but is an incredible frick up. Really is sad because he could have been great.

Yes, I will agree that I am much quicker to criticize a post that takes me out of context and misrepresents what I said than provide a cheers or upvote to one that agrees with me. If that has value to you by all means. I think if that is my worst trait I'm doing ok.

The funniest part about this is that you took issue with me for misunderstanding a post you made, and in doing so, completely misunderstood the post I made. Do you think the streets should go both ways? Or only the way that you're going down it?

Carlton and I give a shite. That's why we're discussing it.
Posted on 3/1/20 at 5:54 pm to prevatt33b
No because the way I view your post you often misrepresent other's viewpoints and seem to do so intentionally. And while you are civil now many times you become obnoxious or belligerent when called on it. You very much come off as disingenuous.

I hear you, and will work on that in the future.
I do want to be clear though, that I frequently reply to a person, reference a point they made, and then talk about the greater discussion at hand. I think many people don't realize that.

Fair enough, if you care to take it, my advice is try to be clearer in what your doing and who you are communicating to.
I feel we have spoken our peace and we should be respectful of the people actually interested in this threads topic. I am moving on.

frick... clearly I'm in the wrong if I'm agreeing with prevatt AND lovethelord , but these threads really rub me the wrong way. Had it been prosed as "players that prove I don't know dick about scouting talent," then maybe. And goldtide, thanks for personally sucking at sports. I'm glad I never had to root for a team you were on
And since you didn't specify which sport, my answer is myself. Wish my coach didn't resign 2 weeks before class startrd. I wish we didn't promote a prolapsed rectum to interim head coach, and I really, really wish I wouldn't have suffered a pneumothorax.

No worries.
FYI, it's 'speak your piece', not 'peace'.
