Players you’ve been most underwhelmed with based on expectations...

Obviously the 5-stars that never panned out, but one of the less obvious ones for me is Terrell Lewis. I had big expectations for him and he never took over a game like I thought he was capable of.
Who are some of the players that actually did get playing time, but never reached your expectations?

I always thought Jerrell Harris was going to be a complete beast, he was a solid contributor his senior year but that was really it.

Where to begin
Nick Saban spoke highly about Brian Motley in 2007 as starting NG in the Spring. Motley broke his hand on someone's helmet in Fall practice and never really recovered. Flipped back to OL and finished as a swing lineman.
Chris Jordan was always "next in line" at LB with his athleticism and size(former RB), but problem was he ended up staying "next in line" 4 years
At a time where many questioned his size compared to other RBs, I was confident Dee Hart could contribute in ways we eventually saw Kenyan Drake did. 2 non contact knee injuries really put the kibosh on that.
And pretty much any JuCo player who was suppose to be "college ready" who ended up as depth or just an average 1 year starter.

Have at it, as some folks might like a thread like this. As for me, I think it's uninteresting, unproductive, and insulting to players who are/were working quite hard.

Recently: Ben Davis, Savion Smith, Kedrick James, Eyabi Anoma, Antonio Alfano, Scooby Carter, Markail Benton, Ale Kaho, Shane Lee.
A few who exceeded my expectations: Eddie Jackson, Blake Sims, Irv Smith, Quinnen Williams, Josh Jacobs, DeVonta Smith, Landon Dickerson.

Raekwon Davis. Had a fantastic 2017 when he Had Daron Payne there but was very average his last 2 years IMO.

BJ Scott, Jerrell Harris, Tana Patrick, Adrian Hubbard, Tyler Love and Ben Davis are the one's that I think of off the top of my head.

Terrell earned Bama legend status with the sack of Fromm in the NCG. Forced a FG for UGA and led to one of the greatest championship walk off plays in Bama and CFB history. I don’t care if he ever does another thing.

If anything, it's an admission of guilt by fans of expectations, or even believing too much in a player.
No one in here has said "this guy fricking sucked", hell I even wrote out reasons behind why certain players didn't work out. It means we are/were fans of these players, hoping for the best. I fail to see the harm of noting some didn't stuff the stat line in their college careers.
Some have their narrative in their head before they even opened the thread and are trying to make people believe that's what this topic is about.
