As one does on a Saturday morning, I found this gem:

quote:

"I never like to see any player on either side get injured but it was different this time watching Bama players get helped off the field and not the Tigers. When was the last time that happened?"

Never forget what Bama did to Mettenberger. Our QB was down on the field, injured, crawling with his hands trying to get off the field. Bama and their inbred, mouth-breathing bugger-eating fans had a LOT of fun rubbing our noses in the fact that they knocked Mett down and out, and maybe ended his playing time (didn't happen, but we didn't know that at the time).

frick Bama. - I hope Fitz has permanent CTE from his collision with RG's balls of steel.

- I hope Hamilton's ACL permanently retracts all the way into his nutsack. -

I want to pay a voodoo queen to venture out of the swamp to the Iron Bowl and help the Barn resurrect the ghost of Chaz Ramsey so he can blow out Jalen Hurt's entire lower body (and not get any punishment for it).

- I hope the Gumps get tag-team arse raped by Chubb and Michel in the SECCG, and then get skull-drug by whomever they face in their bowl game.

- And, when all that occurs, I hope the cameras get video of Little Nicky Satan's head blowing up like a watermelon shot with a 12-gauge 00-buck. Probably won't happen, but a man can dream, can't he?

Alabama has permanently broken some of those people

Even worse- 16 upvotes to 20 downvotes. They're supporting that shite bag.

Remember someone posting something on the Woolly from TR when Cam Robinson committed, that they'd wish other high school teams would teach to roll his ankles. Such a fricked up thing to wish. It's just football.

It's really not even surprising anymore. They talk all the time about how football is all we have, yet talk endlessly about Alabama and throw death threats at players who leave their state. But we're the ones who care too much right?

Add to that how football is the only thing we have and we always take it so seriously.

How do you become that bad of a person?

After the game they said we cheer for injuries in BDS. I don't even know where they make up some of this stuff.

That really is everyone's go to insult and it's pretty dumb tbh. Yes, we care about football. But so does everyone else....this is a sports message board

If they didn’t care about football then they wouldn’t be saying those things or even posting on this site. 7 in a row, It’s killing them.

His parents probably abused him as a child and adolescent, sadly.

It's definitely killing us. I hope you don't take this as a snapshot of the LSU fanbase though. We have the loudest idiots on this site. I would never ever pull for an opposing teams injury. I would venture to say 95%+ would be in the same mindset. A large percentage of the reason is that it would just be the shittiest thing to do and make someone a worthless human being. The fractional other part of the percentage would be to take away an excuse/talking point if we ever beat y'all again, I would want you to be full strength

Praying for swift and full recovery for the players you guys lost

The fans on here are nothing like they are in person. You meet their fans in person, they're offering you food and wanna talk sports. You guys baseball fans are some of the best people to meet.

On here though, they're like Auburn.

This is true....never had a bad experience IRL and LSU home games were some of the best college games I have ever attended.

Their message board crazies are some of the most insane though.........

I often wonder what kind of person it takes to spew that level of vitriol. I like making jokes but by Monday I’m ready for something else.

Comparing the Mettenberger thing is really weak. He walked off under his own power. What we fans liked about it was that they sacked him 4 times in a row and he comically crawled like a slug for a couple seconds after the fourth one before standing up and walking off.

And Mettenberger had been dismissed from UGA for sexual assault charges - that probably affected how much sympathy people had for him.
