Over the last 5 seasons, what offensive player had that “dog” in him?

I’m trying to think of all the Bama offensive players that would put your arse in the dirt.
Whether that’s OL pancakes, WRs blocking, or RBs running through a MFers face.
Who do yall have? I think there have been glimpses here and there but not much?
Justice Haynes, Tyler Booker? Kadyn Proctor at RB?

Haynes didn't do much of anything.

Haynes had tough runs for us.
I thought of Germie, for sure. It seemed like he ran out of bounds a lot. Was a game changer though.

Last 5 seasons?
Jahmyr Gibbs, Germie. Sometimes Milroe could just slide right past you and you never had a chance. Ask LSU about Milroe.

Ty Simpson didn't lack in effort.

Fans and media will never admit/accept how depleted the roster was when CNS retired.
Not a single RB/WR/TE/QB would have ever started from 2008-2022.
The ONLY players that could’ve played on those teams were Tyler Booker and a (much) slimmer Kadyn Proctor.
This is the first season where Bama has players on both sides of the ball who are prime Saban era talents:
- Michael Carroll
- Jackson Loyd
- Ryan Williams (as a 3rd year player)
- L Brooks
- C Morgan
- T. Brown
- Crowell
- R Woodson
- X Griffin
- L Metz
- J Edwards
- Ivan Taylor
- Justin Hill
- Thompkins
- Red Morgan
- L Simmons
- T Greene
Several other 1st or 2nd year players that will get a chance soon enough:
- K Edwards
- Noah Rogers
- Pritchett
- AK Dear
- Jordan Edmonds
- Chuck McDonald
- Faga
- J Matthews
- Nolan Wilson
- Dre Jr
- D Meadows
- Mark Sutter
- Bryson Cooley
- C Doughty
There is a LOT of talent on this roster (especially the 1st/2nd year players), and if you compare it to what CKD inherited 2 seasons ago, it’s no contest

Metchie, Jameson Williams, Bryce Young, Bernard, Cuevas, Booker, Simpson, Milroe, Reichard
Underrated options: Ryan Williams - that dude has rightly drawn criticism for certain things, but that dude has taken a lot of really hard hits and gotten up every time and never complains.
Talty - I know a lot of people blasted him for getting after the snapper on national tv, but he the dude is fiery, and he could've transferred out but obviously set out to be the best kicker at Bama he could. Everyone had Quinn winning the job, and Talty has proven he deserves it so far.

There is no defense of that effort, but if you look at the totality of his career, its hard to say that guy didn't have heart - despite his many other shortcomings. The guy led Bama to an SEC Championship, never missed a game despite taking lots of hits running the ball, and by all accounts handled being benched in the USF game as well as could be expected.

That was the single worst Alabama performance I'd ever seen. Just piss poor.

Milroe should’ve been benched for that.
