Oh, please, stop with the patronizing tone. Of course, you are the realistic one and Bama fans are rendered tone deaf in their echo chamber.

Maybe LSU defenders are reading their keys better, trusting their teammates more, maybe it’s because the last 2 games they are under little stress because they have a comfortable lead and/or playing such bad offensive competition and playing at home. These things make it easier to think straight.

Maybe they have made genuinely significant improvement, who knows, Alabama certainly has, why not LSU?

If, and this is a big if, we can force LSU to give up what they're averaging on the run game; I'd bet that they'll lean on that and hopefully grind the game to an almost halt and keep their offense off the field and wreck any flow that they may have. It's not like we have to worry about offensive pace with our system.

Kind of a big ask with our O-line; but lots of designed runs with Milroe and long drives from a bunch of 4 yard gains and using the full play clock may put some pressure on them.

Now that I've said that we'll come out slinging it and try to win a shootout

If Alabama wins this game based on a penalty against LSU the servers of this site will explode.

I can’t put into words how bad I want that to happen!

If we score 40pts, House should walk back to Baton Rouge.

They made some schematic changes and the defense has improved over the last few weeks.

Auburn or Army

There you go.

LSU's defense might be better. Or it might still be terrible.

Bottom line - we can't play Jekyll and Hyde this week. We need two good halves. Or at least one semi-competent and one excellent.

Yeah we can't afford to mess up this week as it is the bye week.

Turns out Auburn and Army are just very bad at offense.

But we were told not to expect the same LSU defense that had completely shite the bed against their first 6 opponents. I don't understand how this could have happened.

This is why you don’t overreact to 1-2 isolated performances against bad competition.

Will Milroe be a dynamic runner against good defenses going forward? Maybe (I certainly hope so). But the missed throws last night may have been significantly more costly if we were playing any of the top 10 teams in the country other than Ole Miss or maybe Washington (i.e. OSU, Mich, UGA, Oregon, Texas, etc.). I’m hoping Milroe has turned a corner and we take down UGA, but I’m not going to overreact to a “hot knife through butter” performance against this LSU defense.

God some people are just determined to shite on Milroe. If he'd have thrown for 4 tds instead of rushing last night you'd be complaining he didn't run when he had the opportunity. He finally has a break out game rushing like so many have been begging for and now it's complaints about his passing. There's no pleasing some people.

I have a feeling, and it is just me - I think he would be a dynamic runner against any college team IF he committed to it like the game plan did yesterday. Saban knew that if LSU only to stop the pass, they would have blitzed him every down

got him stepping up in the box to help out the tackles, and if he sees room run. That's going to translate to good things against any team we play. Heck I even see us hitting some quick slants. If that persists the rest of the league is fricked. This is a very down year for CFB, nobody is overwhelming good
