November 23rd then Auburn the very next week. Any concerns over that?

not with the #1 team in the country coming up, and hopefully the #2/#3 immediately after that.

Ask again after the playoff

None. Alabama destroys Auburn in T-Town, as always.

The week prior, Auburn will play an SEC opponent as well.

The trip to Norman in Nov could be an issue I just had flashbacks to Zow and the Music City bowl

Yes. I’m concerned about traveling there the weekend before Thanksgiving. That’s a busy month for me.

Fortunately for me, Norman is only 4 hours away, so I plan on being there for that game. Hopefully, they play well. Last time I was there, I went and saw Bama get blown out in basketball.

Well, I’ve been against the 12 team playoff but we’re probably going to need it next year to get in. I could see us dropping a game or 2 with that schedule.

I’m concerned it could be freezing cold there in late November

The tune up game this year did not get us prepared for playing AU so maybe having back to back good teams to play will keep this team hungry

I have been making my way to each SEC stadium (added Kentucky this year) and I think I might want to add Norman to my list. I've been there before, just never for a game. Luckily it's a late kickoff so I can drive part of the way Friday night and then the rest Saturday morning.

LOL... barn dont GAF who they play the few weeks before Bama. Their season begins and ends with the Iron Bowl.

Hamster will have at least two quarters of football full of trick plays nobody has seen all season, and their LB's will be clapping trying to get the ball snapped.

Probably Vandy or South Carolina.

Nope. They lost Dillon Gabriel so unless they end up with someone like Cam Ward, they won't be very good. And Auburn should get destroyed by us at home next year.

They’ve got a young QB that people expect big things from. Gabriel leaving was a mutual thing.

Of course there’s concern. AU should be more improved and OU will have a solid squad. We’ll also have been through the gauntlet of going to Madison, home vs. UGA, at Knoxville, and at Baton Rouge. We have a lot of guys returning next year so we’re primed for a good season, but it’s not out of the question that a team or two can catch us at the right time.

This new SEC is no joke. It’s why scheduling multiple quality OOC opponents per year like we’re doing isn’t the smart play IMO.
