But seriously, 2010 was the year everyone decided the NCAA needed to be put in its place. SoCal had gotten nailed so hard that I think it was the first blow landed towards killing the Pac-12 conference. Auburn and SEC used crafty maneuvering to flummox the NCAA investigation into Cam Newton. It provided the blueprint for how all other schools and conferences would approach the NCAA in the future. Additionally, in 2012 the NCAA dramatically overstepped their charter and punished Penn State for criminal court proceedings that didn't clearly fall into their enforcement bounds. The final nail in the coffin was the NCAA and member schools granting permission to make a football video game for over a decade that clearly used the likeness of amateurism just without their name. This ultimately led to the dogshit NIL precedent that have created pay for play while everyone acting like it is not pay for play and amateurism still exists.


I can't think of a body that needs to be ended more than the NCAA. We don't need you to maintain rulebooks and you basically have no real utility in a world that needs to just call the student-athletes employees and be rid of the bullshite.

Meant to say future starting RB. Kids fun to watch He's a good bit bigger than 130 now and is closer to 5'10".

It's also 4A in suburban Raleigh NC, let's just say that there isn't a ton of D1 talent out our way.
