See. That's what we're dealing with. I'm just not inclined to argue with some dolt. There is no point in it. It's a waste of time.

Meeeh.... If a scout or a team likes you, they will see past another player’s deficiencies. Especially at a position like WR, teams seem to draft based on skill rather than overall college play. Demaryius Thomas played in an option based offense and still was a first rounder; Julio Jones was underutilized and still drafted 1st round; Darius Heyward-Bey drafted high simply due to speed. While the scout raised a few points that Ridley is “slipping”bdue to Jalen; as a casual NFL fan and former college athlete, I call bullish!t on his assessment.
Its not about Ridley, I posted that because of his description of Hurts.
But the scout literally says exactly what you just did about Ridley. That the tape screams just how good Ridley is, and Ridley should be the best WR in the draft. It's linked above, go read it.
He said that because people have been ragging on Ridley, and dropping his grade, because of his perceived lack of production, when they shouldn't be. Ridley's production has been hurt by Hurts.
This is getting out of hand guys. I feel like Im having to reply far too often to straighten out similar misconceptions about what was written, and why.
If everyone would actually read every post in a thread, and use their reading comprehension while doing so, this would go so much smoother.

Are you embarrassed of your athletic abilities? I’m not embarrassed of my mental deficiencies. So let’s chat about sports?

I don't really disagree with the things he addresses being relative issues and that's why he isn't a great passer or an NFL prospect as of now. But there's a pretty massive gap between that and "horrendous QB play."

OJ Howard has maybe a handful of productive games and he still went round one.

I think the scout also doesn't realise the motivation for Hurts decision making. He sees Hurts as being unable to make reads, and hesistant to throw the ball downfield. Whereas we all know that he is doing every thing he can to make sure he doesn't turn the ball over and give the opponent points. The only time he starts trying to throw into even slighty tight windows is if he is in the late game "winner" mode I mentioned on page 1.

Are you saying that as a gotchya to try and educate me in some way?
Or are you trying to back up my, and the scout's, point of view?
Because if it's the former, you're a moron. That's literally the exact same point I made in the post you replied to, and said multiple times in this thread. Ridley's talent is on film for all to see, regardless of his production.

DJ Hall had back to back 1,000 yard seasons and went undrafted.

What’s your resume? Are you a quarterback coach? Or perhaps you played qb?

Again, proves my point. Production at WR doesn't necessarily mean anything. The tale of the talent is always on the tape.
Are you seriously trying to use these as a "gotchya" to show me I'm wrong in some way about Ridley? Because if so, your reading comprehension is lower than my 9 year old niece's.

Are you not trying to say that Hurts is hurting Ridleys draft stock?

On a side note; I never see Tua on the sideline anymore. Is he still going to the games? Headset?

No.
I posted that mainly for his description of Hurts' abilities, or lack thereof.
The point I have been making about Ridley, is that Hurts is hurting Ridley's production, but should not be effecting his draft grade. The lack of production this year and last, has led some scouts to downgrade Ridley without watching the tape. They are assuming a lack of production shows a lack of ability. Which is the farthest thing from the truth. The scout I quoted was trying to say that anyone faulting Ridley for a lack production, and downgrading his draft stock, was pointing in the wrong direction. That Ridley should not have his stock dropped because of a QB who won't throw him the ball consistently.
The tape show just how fantastic Ridley is, me and the scout have both said that clearly. If you would actually bother to click the link on the first page, and go read the full report, it would be helpful.
Edit: I literally said this exact same thing in the second post on this page.
TLDR: Some scouts have dropped Ridley because of a lack of stats.
He gets stats from QB, so QB is reason stats bad.
Ridley's stock shouldn't be dropped because bad stats, tape says Ridley amazing.
Hurts should not be hurting Ridley stock even though he cause bad stats.

I don’t believe this. They get paid to watch film. You think while they watch Bama tape on our numerous five stars they just decide to skip Ridley because he ain’t put up big numbers? You and your scout think this?
