Even without their starting QB, UGA had no reason to lose to this team.

Ohio State won the first 4 team playoff and now they're gonna win the first 12 team playoff.

I gotta admit..... Downs missing that last tackle and getting his arse stiff armed in the 1st gave me a tiny grin.

Sounds like another successful team I know.

Might be sour grapes on my behalf but Ryan Day has deserved every bit of criticism he's gotten up to this point. No way this game should even be this close, he just happened to peak at the right time when there were no other worthy contenders.

ND defense didn't show up. Credit to ND for not giving up though...at the half it looked like a blowout was coming.

Crazy how this “blue blood” of a program hasn’t won a NC in well over 3 decades

Hilarious for people to talk about this Ohio State team as some historic team. They would never have even played for a national title before this year. They are the 6 seed that got hot in the playoffs. They have no business in the discussion for being a great team.

?Que? AnOSU was a very good team that had more talent than most everyone else. They beat the brakes off everyone they played but Texas. They peaked at the right time and played great ball. Their staff had them well prepared.

They were the best team money could buy.

They lost twice in the regular season and would never have even been considered for the playoffs before expansion. They barely beat Nebraska at home (21-17) too.

Great playoff run? Yes. All time great team? No, not even in the discussion.

Someone needs a refund.

Michigan just went 15-0 last year and Ohio St managed to lose to two of the three best teams they played in the regular season.

They came dangerously close to losing to Kentucky and would have lost to Georgia Tech if not for two atrocious calls that cost Tech the game. So I wasn't surprised. They were as feast or famine as Bama.

Correct. They should have lost to GT. Heck, Florida played them hard, too. When Lagway got injured the game turned.
