To be fair the “working on the extension” part was only reported by the radio station. It could be complete speculation on their part for all we know
I wouldn’t rule him out until he says something himself
Plus it doesn’t make sense for him to cancel this appearance just to sign a new deal. That can be done anytime. I’m not saying Bama will land him but I do think it has something to do with the whole coaching search. Could also be he’s doing it to get a new contract by pretending to be interested in Bama tho

I mean, yesterday morning our radio people were talking about Lanning being in Tuscaloosa. It doesn't mean nothing but until we hear from him ourselves I wouldn't count him out

Rome Odunze and Dillon Johnson are declaring for the draft. This was most likely happening anyway. But it's interesting that they both made their decision public within the last 45 minutes.
