Well, he’s either discussing a new contract or coming here. I guess we shall see.

It's just a shame we no longer get to see this ... vintage Coach Saban.

Can you imagine if Florida hadn't hired Napier, he would have probably been the front runner. And the next HC at Bama.

Everything about coming to Alabama would be an upgrade for DeBoar including the $ it’s a no brainer for him.

Dabo will absolutely put up a competitive team here for the next 5 years and likely win a championship. The problem is he will not us the portal so the 10 win seasons will come next.
Tommy would keep most if the team together and most of the staff. He would either be Ryan Day or he would fail so fast that we would be able to get rid of him.

I don’t love either of those options but I’m ok with them.
The biggest mistake we can make is an average coach who had an elite QB make them look good. That coach will have elite talent here too at first but then the other SEC teams negative recruiting against him will start to work and we’ll have a crazy buyout with a coach that sucks. We could end up with a Jimbo and that terrifies me.

We haven’t talked about it much here

But we don’t know how NIL will be affected with Saban gone. It was speculated by some that previously Bama wasn’t paying as high as others because they didn’t have to. The slightly lower NIL was off set by the allure of playing for Saban and his track record of pumping out NFL players

Mario would actually do really well here. Most don’t realize how cheap Miami is with their assistant budget and how hard it is to recruit to a fanbase that doesn’t care and a stadium that sucks.

It is a small private school in the an affluent suburb of Miami. They deemphasized college football quite some time ago and now their natural recruiting advantage has basically been lost to every other school in the Deep South who realized their vulnerability if you only invested some cash into being present down there.

Mario should have stayed in Oregon. Going to his alma mater is going to ruin his career.
