Greg McElroy said the same thing on his YouTube channel.

He said Saban was interviewing DC candidates last night.

Well shite. Now I'm kinda worried.

I see it as an absolute win. We'd win a natty and we'd get to see Urban crash and burn one last time, but up close and personal.

So far I don’t think he has refuted any of the names submitted.

The only Giants coach I am taking is Joe Judge.

Need an elite recruiter in this era.

But do you? Seems like a good NIL will take care of that. Its not like you can outrecruit a school thats offering more $

FTR I like Lanning, but hes only ever had a multiple year veteran QB. Its just too risky. Id love a stop gap and then reevaluate. Lanning also has a 20 million dollar buyout

guarantee Saban already hand picked who he wants.

I had heard when Saban left LSU, he recommended hiring Houston Nutt.

This is so bizarre to me. I really hope he didn't get some news that forced his hand:

quote:

Nick Saban was working until the very end, I'm told. He was interviewing candidates for vacancies as late as this morning. Then later in the day, he told his players he's retiring

Dabo would definitely make beating Auburn a priority.

Yeah but it was Bo Nix. The same Bo Nix that was fricking garbage at Auburn. It's not like he had some established elite QB or anything. Fixing that douchebag and turning him into a really good QB is a very impressive coaching job.

There are a probably a lot yall that want Lanning. The Dude is 37 in his second year as a head coach. Hes too young

How old was Kirby when he took the Georgia job?

There's 4 NFL head coaches that are under 40. And one of them has a Super Bowl ring.

Seems like college football pushed him out. You cant really help kids develop when they are looking to leave as soon as something they dont like goes down.
