Looks like Drake Maye is unlikely to enter the transfer portal as of now. Hudson Card (Texas), has entered the portal, though, seems like he played pretty well against us. He had pretty decent stats overall, too. I haven't seen his name in connection with us, but have read his name mentioned with Georgia.

He's not naming teams or the player, but Mack Brown says an upwards of 15 teams are trying to lure one of his starters into the transfer portal.

You'd have to assume it's Maye. Not saying he'll transfer, that info would have to come from Maye's side informing Mack.

Drake Maye likely could make at least $5 million for a season if he enters the portal.

Do you not think he can make that at UNC.

It's Maye and they were trying before the season as well. He is locked in for the long haul at UNC. His two main goals areto be in a position to win the Heisman and NFL 1st rounder. He will be a runner up this year and probably a front runner next for the Heisman. The year after should be a 1st rounder and if continues upward top 10. The NC was not one of his goals and hence why he picked UNC in the end over many other suitors that position themselves each year for a NC.

The kid comes from a family with money and knows once he hits the NFL it will be there. And unless Brown leaves or something major happens to UNC he will stay there.

Understand I would love to see him at UA but right now it is not a realistic option.

I think we will start having things like that happen but there’s plenty of money in Chapel Hill for Maye

What our fans need to get ready for is are other programs poaching our players. Our OC/DC staying on staff will not help retain players. We already seeing players enter before the playoffs are set and we will see more go. This off season is going to be different for UA in regards to the transfer portal.

Clemson qb has entered the portal since he lost his starting role. I thought this kid had the potential to be a great qb…not so much any longer!

DJ is in a bad situation in a decrepit offense with bad QB coaching. I think he'll do well in a new offense.

Their backup sure looked good in the same offense with the same coaching.

I don't post here much but I have noticed that just about every one of your posts is terrible.

Stinks losing Cohen. Would have liked to have seen him and Booker at both guard spots next year with Ekiyor gone.

We are about to lose a lot of players. I think The days of players wanting to play at Bama just because are over.

Which is good. We need the pride back.

That's the thing. DJ looked good his freshman season too. And, Trevor looked his best as a freshman. Something is going on there where guys come in with good mechanics but don't develop much after that.

I'm surprised by Cohen. I saw Deion Sanders tell his JSU players on his way out don't get in the portal because you might not find another school. He said the portal this year is going to be CRAZY.

So Deion doesn't want any of his JSU players? I'm sure they feel special.

More transfer for us coming. Probably see more wide receivers and a linebacker or two I feel.
