Maybe I'm biased because I hear how he is directly from people that have spent time around him.
Yeah I don't doubt that he puts a lot of hours in to try to improve his draft stock.
My point is he doesn't ever put his body on the line for this team. That's not an opinion - that's an observable fact. You see other QBs across the country that play with attitude. They'd rather be carted off on a stretcher than play with the pussy attitude of Milroe. Some guys play with guts and toughness. Milroe just doesn't. He's always thinking about protecting himself - even when the game and the season is on the line.

Ok... Devil's advocate here: say he puts his body on the line and gets hurt. CKD doesn't seem to have any faith in our backup QBs... How would it help the team of he gets knocked out? Maybe coach has said to not take the hits. Maybe he is protecting himself for the future. Who knows?

Because it would allow a better QB to take the field

I might be blind, but I thought I spotted Blake Sims on the sideline cheering on Bama today. I wish Blake made even half the NIL money Milroe has.

People that have a feel for quarterback play do not think Milroe is a good quarterback. O'Brien told him as much, which unfortunately kick started LANK. For some reason Coach Saban has a little bit of a block about quarterback play. He handcuffed McCarron is the 9 to 6 lost to LSU, and in the mulligan bowl that year we kicked five field goals, and the same in the 2013 lost to Auburn, only we missed two short game winning field goals. The play calling in red zone offense against Auburn in 2013 was not good. Alabama should have won that game going away.

Lank was started by the defense.
I think Saban left it to the OC. Coach Boob got lazy and let Bryce run the offense. Rees was ok, but never developed anything great. Sheridan is learning...
Remember back when Kiffin came in? Man, that was good times. LOL

For what it’s worth several folks came to my church today wearing their Milroe jerseys.

I absolutely love Jalen Milroe the young man and Alabama football representative. He's everything you could dream to the the face of your program.
I have grown to absolutely loathe Jalen Milroe the quarterback and will be glad to see him move on. He's stopped doing all the things that made him a Heisman contender. He's stopped running the ball with purpose. He simply wants to try to run around everybody.
I saw someone earlier compare him to Jake Coker. If Jalen played with the heart Jake did he'd be unstoppable.

Can you people stop with this shite?
Why does everything have to be clarified with some statement about what an amazing and wonderful person Milroe is? How tf do you know?
He's just a guy. He seems pretty unintelligent. He started the stupid LANK thing. He never plays with toughness and heart.
Yet he's an "incredible face for the program".
Maybe that's the problem. I'd rather have a QB who says very little to the media, draws no attention to himself, and goes out every Saturday and lays it all out there on the field.
Think AJ McCarron. Think Mac Jones. Never a media darling. 3 National Championships in 4 years between them.

Him and Terrion who is one of the best representatives of the University in the NFL. LANK isn't the problem, Jalen is just a Jekyll and Hyde QB who has the highest highs and the lowest lows. He can beat anyone and lose to anyone.

His perceived attitude I think has done him no favors, fair or not. TV never shows him talking to defense, firing up players, being encouraging. Just shows him sitting and waiting to go back in.
Its undeniable that he makes "business decisions" that takes priority over whether team wins or not. I think if he was the run through the wall kind of player like Coker was, fans would be much more forgiving of his mistakes.

If he was the run through the wall kind of player, we'd be 12-0 and Milroe would be the first pick in the draft with a Heisman trophy. We'd be begging him to stay at Alabama

I agree...Milroe's won some big games for us.
However, he's been a main reason we've lost games we should have won.
There are games, particularly on the road, where he's disinterested, non motivated for the game.
I pumped my fist when the AU player called him out last week.
So, we knew motivated Milroe was showing up.

Guy has some Mt. Everest highs, but some Mariana Trench lows. I think it's absolutely fair for people to want more consistency out of the QB on the field.
Unfortunately, it hasn't been left just at that...
THIS! Leave it at his play, he's been personally attacked more than any player in the last 15 years... and yet he has been nothing but a great representative of the University. He hasn't got into a lick of trouble off the field, but yet the majority of this board call him Radio. The rest of this board would love to believe that he's a major cancer and has blackmailed Saban and Deboer. It's an absolute joke the level that people on here will go to disparage someone's character because they have inconsistent play.

I see this idea thrown around quite a bit, specifically with respect to Jalen and Terrion. I love Terrion’s game and I’m sure he’s a good dude (Terry Saban loves him). But Alabama has more than 60 dudes active on NFL rosters. What makes Terrion Arnold “one of the best representatives of the University” in the league? Genuinely curious where this notion comes from.
