I think that’s a fair assessment and it’s how I feel. I put it at like 85% he stays.
We have a football game in 9 days and the truth is that if we lose that game then that could change things drastically from both sides.

He’s in the playoffs this year, signed a class that seems to be great, and the schedule ought to be easier the next two years.

DeBoer is also still under contract for quite a while. His buyout would be substantial for Michigan to pay. You 100% would pay it for a slam dunk program changer but I don’t know…
I guess it helps they are going to get out of paying Moore a buyout, but I suspect they will pay the staffer a significant amount of money in a settlement. They also had to pay a chunk of change as a fine for cheating.

Not at all I believe
His buyout for being fired without cause is around $60M or so. His buyout if he got hired is only around $4M

It’s coming out that people in the Michigan athletic department including the AD have known about this for ages and took no action. Heads are probably going to roll. I feel certain that DeBoer isn’t inclined to be diving into such a s**t show.
