Probably will be a close game late in the 4th. Burrow isn't great, and can be streaky, but he's shown he can make plays at opportune moments IMO. That being said, Alabama's secondary, while young, did shut down arguably one on the best starting receiving groups in the country, when everyone doubted them. So it'll be interesting. LSU's defense is no slouch, but neither is Tua and Alabama's offense right now.

Could decide the west again. I can see LSU keeping it close, but I can also see Alabama blowing them out.

LSUs defense is championship level. The offense is better but not scary. It is my opinion if LSU is going to beat teams like Alabama and Georgia their offensive efficiency is going to have to improve a lot. Don’t get me wrong with LSU defensive talent alone they’re going to have a chance against anyone but LSU is fortunate enough to catch Auburn early who is still shifting OL around trying to find a good combination. Stidham while a very good WB is not elite in my opinion and gets really rattled against pressure which Auburn’s OL can not protect him against.

Like many others have said, there's a lot football to be played between now and Bama vs L7u in Nov.

To claim GOC type of game now is just way too early and only the big time swamp trash L7u fan homers believe.

L7u will not be undefeated. UGA is a L, @UF and MSST are 50-50, lose 1 of those.

Look, I understand why you're excited but unless the L7u offense improve significantly then Bama will win by double digits again.

The game will more than likely be the CBS 230 kickoff. Saban will make sure.

This ain't the year, L8u is coming.

Agreed with everything, except @UF being a 50-50 game. Florida is awful.

LSU/Alabama will be a war like it always is down there.

Unless their offense improves and gets more efficient they will have as much trouble scoring against us as they have for the last few years.

Bro, if the GOTC is LSU getting prison raped by Bama then ok, you can call it that.

Seriously, I don't see how LSU's defense keeps Bama from winning by 2-3 scores at minimum. True, you may able to keep Bama from getting into the 40's but, I know your predictable offense won't score more than 10-14 maximum. I'm being as unbiased as I can be.

Truths^^^

The L7u fans will say that their offense will improve due to more experience for Bureaux and etc and will be able put up a bunch of points vs Bama. But they want to think Bama is a finished product and will not improve during this same timeframe. Bama will get a lot better on defense, especially the young DBs. Plus, the offense will improve. MHO is that Both teams improve overnthe season but Bama has more upside which his scary.

Unless, they get some early TOs that they score on or get short field to get an easier score then I believe Bama will win comfortably and at no point will it be in doubt. (Similar to the past 2 years but more comfortable ). Sure they will fight hard and will not be a walk over but they just don't have the offense to keep up or put enough pressure on our defense.

A lot of ball to be played between now and then, so I'd pull back the reigns on the GOC talk.

I am excited about it, especially considering it might be 1 of 2 competitive games that we have this year.

It will be fun watching this team play in Death Valley against a good LSU team. I predicted 10-2 for LSU this season on the SEC rant, and I still stand by it.

I agree. I'd love to be respectful of our opponent by saying things like "it's going to be a great game", or "it will be a four quarter game", or something of the type, but I won't be telling the truth.

I think LSU is a gritty football team that has band together against the odds to have a good season, but they aren't a legitimate contender to beat Alabama. I doubt they will score over 20 points and I also doubt they can stop us from hitting 40.

Burrow is tough, but tough won't be enough in this game. Their oline won't handle BAMA's penetration, and I think we'll bag a few interceptions because Burrow is going to be forced to make throws to win.

BAMA 45 - L8U 17
