This one shaping up to be another "Game of the Century" type, personally I love it. I'm not fully aboard the O Train just yet, because I still think he's an imbecile but if he keeps winning big games it will be hard to resist.

This is LSU's remaining schedule until the Alabama game:

LA Tech @ LSU -- 4-0
Ole Miss @ LSU -- 5-0
LSU @ Florida -- 6-0
#2 UGA @ LSU -- 7-0/6-1
#14 MSST @ LSU -- 8-0/7-1

I believe those are all winnable games for LSU, the only one that I could seem us losing is UGA. The Ole Miss and State game will both be at Night in Tiger Stadium so I'm not too worried about either. I think in either scenario LSU comes into the Alabama game a Top 5 Team, if not Top 5 then #6 or #7 even with a loss to UGA.

LSU just beat a very good Auburn team in Jordan-Hare, which is honestly not something I saw us doing. Not only did they beat them but they came back from a double digit deficit on the road to the #7 team in the nation to win. I think we can all agree that LSU may be a legit Playoff contender at this point, knocking off the #7 and #8 ranked teams both on the road or a neutral site.

I tell you what, I'm excited as heck for the game this year in Tiger Stadium, what are y'all thinking?

Buga, it's going to be ugly and fast. Jalen will be doing mop up duty before halftime.

You really think that? LSU will more than likely be the best defense you face all year... I understand y'all think very highly of Tau but I mean you can't honestly think you're going to blow out LSU in Tiger Stadium...at night...come on now

When is the last time Alabama has blow out LSU in Death Valley?

I think some fans really do believe that. I expect this to be a tough game as usual. Maybe we’ll pull away in the fourth or something.

2013, though you can argue that 21 points is not a blowout.

Otherwise, we'd have to go back to '02 with the Saban led Tigers being crushed by Dennis the Menace 31-0.

Not being an arse...Burrow's arm strength looks like a high schooler (not a highly rated one either). We will play off and force him to hit the quick stuff underneath and i bielieve, we will get a pick 6 breaking on those slow throws. i really think we shut down that offense 99/100 games.

With that said, we will know a lot better where we stand as an Offense this saturday against aTm. Tua and o-lines's first real test.

There's a long way to go before we get to that game.

Yup, my bad.

Always playing in Crimson against LSU fricks up my memory.

Miss St can certainly beat LSU. Hell, they might even be favored. Miss St is nasty in the trenches.

Yea, I'm not sure why he's excited over the Bama game, there's a good chance LSU has 2 losses before the game even happens

There is a great deal of football to play between now and then. But, to even be on scale of the game of the century part 1 or part 2, LSU will have to drastically improve to dominate their opponents as they did in 2011. As of now, they are not a significant offensive threat and their defense, though very good, is not near the caliber of 2011.

Alabama, on the other hand, may develop into a team as solid on defense as they were in 2011. That said, I believe the Alabama offense of 2018 is far superior to that of 2011. Had Alabama fielded this offense in November of 2011, there may not have been a game of the century part 2 that included Alabama and LSU in January.

But, even for Alabama, the season is very young. While the offense looks very good, we'll have to see how it holds up throughout the year. Primarily, the team has to avoid key injuries on both sides of the ball to continue to progress.

Bottom line, two undefeated teams showing up for LSU versus Alabama in November doesn't equate to the game of the century.

LSU is not going to have nearly the offense to be a threat. Alabama's defense appears to be quite good too. This will be a year in which Alabama does not play uber conservative 3 yards and a cloud of dust. We will be wide open and high scoring. That alone will put tremendous pressure on the LSU offense to feel like they have to be perfect. If Tua is healthy, I don't see where LSU has a chance.

To think LSU goes through the grind of Auburn MSU UF UGA Alabama and aTm undefeated would be difficult even if Saban was still the HC.

Hey, it’s just nice to see LSU with a threatening pass attack again and getting the ball downfield.

Be surprised if LSU makes it through that with only 1 loss.

Yea you guys beat Auburn, but you beat them last year and it really didn't change much.

That being said I Am worried about A&M this weekend because if Mond is balling out they could score.

Look, LSU is playing great football, and it's a rivalry game so you just never know. It's probably gonna be a night game in Death Valley. You've got a good defense, so Bama probably won't be dropping 50 on you.

But I've seen nothing from your offense that makes me think you can do better than maybe 14 points against us. I mean Burrow is completing only 46.2% of his passes on 6.9 yards per attempt. That's not good no matter how you look at it.

I know LSU fans always get hyped for the Bama game. I routinely like to laugh at you guys on the Rant for it because it just hasn't been going your way in a long time, and Bama has quite a few double digit wins over LSU in that time. I'm telling you this for your own happiness, don't get too hyped for this one. Barring a miracle or something unforeseen happening to Tua or key Bama players, I'm just not sure LSU can stay within 10. It probably won't be a blowout, but a definitive win for Bama seems likely.

Literally have no worries about the LSU game. They ain't got shite on offense and there is no way they outscore Bama. I don't think we are just going to walk over them but barring an injury to Tua, this game will not be in doubt.
