I don’t think we would lose to A&M,LSU and Tenn. Texas is legit. They have a good team this year. They also played the underdog role last night; going for it on fourth down, running trick plays and playing loose.

I am 90% positive Milroe starts next week. Unfortunately too many positives to simply yank the guy without doing serious harm to confidence. If Buchner didn’t workout you would want him to come back and not with confidence troubles.

Good coaches like Saban are using a measured and thoughtful process, not just feelings. He will try to work with Jalen now that he’s the starter.

Any defense with a pulse and a week to prepare for Milroe will give us fits this year.

Not saying that means we’ll lose, but it means there’s 4-5 games that will be absolute dogfights with him at QB.

Overall I’d say…

- Big Arm
- Leadership
- Great runner.

But

- No anticipation/vision.
- No Accuracy.
- Questionable Moxy

If this team got manhandled in the trenches by Texas, what do you think Tennessee, LSU, Ole Miss and A&M will do to them? Then there is at Auburn.

This will be a 3-4 loss season.

Name one SEC team you are 100% confident guaranteeing this team can beat? I can’t name one, I legitimately believe Arkansas and Kentucky will give us problems if the team plays the way they did yesterday and Milroe is the QB.

A&M was dogshit last year and they came into BDS with a chance to win on the last play because of Milroe.

There are no certainties this season.

If we make a switch at QB, clean up the OL some we can win out.

We all know they're not going to make it easy for us. It took until literally the last half of the 2017 season to pull Hurts. We're probably stuck with Milroe at least until we lose again

I don’t think he is a great runner. He’s fast but no vision or sense of when to run.

I think we can still be in the SEC championship game with a QB change.

Though I’m not blaming the D, we will at some point face some good offensive coaches - we will need better defensive play - with some pass rush.

Let’s consider where we are on the schedule. That was a frustrating loss, but it affects nothing in our conference standing. Nothing against USF, but if we’re thinking about making a change, you’d think this is the week to do it. Give him a full game against a weak opponent to get acclimated for conference play.

Maybe I’m being too optimistic, but I think had the offensive drives gone more according to plan in the first half, the defense would’ve had more juice in the second half.

I have a weird take on this thing. I think this team CAN be really good. I was actually pleased with how the defense played with the exception of the last few drives. They were on the field a lot. They played hard, and flew to the ball. That’s an improvement. The receivers played a lot better. They bailed out JM4 several times; others have noted they were open a good amount yesterday. The o line wasn’t always great, but they never are early in the season and just so happened to go against an elite d-line early in the year while trying to get things figured out. I think they get better especially if 71 loses his job. Special teams played really well. I think over all the team played significantly better than we did last year in Austin. You simply cannot hit the opposing players between the numbers with the football, all the while your guys are running free down the field. You can’t miss multiple TDs on over throws and under throws when it’s easy pitch and catch. The miss to Jase on the wheel route was a middle school throw. I’m not putting it all on Milroe, but this team has the talent and the ability to have a better season than we give them credit for.
