When it comes to the post season nobody chokes like the Braves. It is hard to believe an organization (year after year) can have a roster that has no Mr. October's.

I like Packer but that is an idiotic comparison. In fact, there is no comparison between the two. Packer is a Clemson alum I think, so that game was so big to him that he views all sports through that prism and thus, sees things that do not exist.

Or how about Snitker screwing up the bullpen in game 1? Send Fried, a 17 game winner to the bullpen, throw him 3 consecutive games and not once start him? Throw Kuechel on short rest? Already mentioned Fried, but what about Tehran? This series never should've gone 5 and likely shouldn't have even gone 4.

Well at least we got one...even though we should've had 3 or 4. Just happy that my Dad got to see 'em win a World Series before he died; that man was the biggest Atlanta fan in the world and that may have been the happiest I ever saw him...
All these new-fangled statheads with their sabermetrics, launch angle, and WAR shite make teams way overthink things. Our best and most consistent pitcher all year long was Soroka...so what do we do? We pitch him in game 3 since his stats were better on the road so the Cards only face our best pitcher once in a 5-game series. Thought the bullpen was mishandled badly in game 1; can't understand how Fried was used this series nor why Luke Jackson was used much at all...
Chris Martin getting hurt might've cost us the series...if Freeman doesn't bungle the double play ball in the first inning last night, we're only down 1-0...Donaldson, Freeman, and Markakis killed us with RISP...the only hitters that showed up were Acuna, Dansby, Duvall, and perhaps Albies...
I can only hope the Braves recover from this better than the Falcons debacle in the Super Bowl. Really starting to believe in the curse when it comes to Atlanta sports...really shocking that we even won one championship...

Liberty Media has taken a beating by fans over the years, and perhaps justifiably so, but you can absolutely say this about them:
Liberty Media did its fricking job this year and did it well. I can't say that about Snitker and some of the players...especially Freeman and Markakis in the playoffs.
