Gotta take things one game at a time. Looking forward to seeing the guys get back on track.

On3 is reporting the plan is to play all 3 QBs tonight with hopes of getting Austin Mack on the field as early as the 2nd quarter.

I'd like to see that. I'm not giving up on Simpson, but I can't say he inspired confidence playing scared last week. Granted, the OL played like shite. Proctor needs his arse on the bench as well if he can't do any better.
I just didn't see that fiery leadership from Simpson I was hoping to see...especially when facing adversity.

Some QBs come alive under the lights...you never know. I'd be fine playing all 3 vs Wisconsin too...then make the call on the starter and get him all the first team reps in the off week before Georgia and keep them guessing on who to prepare for at QB a little bit.

I’m good with it. No one’s job should be safe after last Saturday except for Germie Bernard.

Coaches jobs are on the line they arent just going to let it happen.

Maybe it will wake the starters up. Honestly we may see DeBoer start to do some of his best work with the guys who actually want to be on the field and don't take it for granted

Guessing film study was not kind to Ty.

However let's see how it plays out

I admittedly thought this should happen, but already having to do this with a guy you named a fricking team captain still sums up the DeBoer experience.

And Brown’s and Brailsford’s. Those 2 played well too.

Doubt we flip the starting QB after this game. Seems more like an excuse to get young guys reps (which it should) which we didn’t do last year. If it was really this tight we wouldn’t have left Ty in the full game last week. Reminds me of Ole Miss 2015 when we tried some chucklefrick rotation to get back to where we started.

ULM beat Saint Francis 29-0 last week. If we go up 21-0 or 28-0 we’ll probably start rotating

Either way if I was a coach whose seat just randomly got sparked with some fire, I’d probably do this move out of desperation to try and calm everyone’s unease. PR move of “we’re putting ourselves in the best position to win”.

If a quarterback goes out there and really shows out and separates himself from the pack, and he’s not wearing No. 15 … would the results of a game against this opponent justify DeBoer making a tough decision? Or do you give No. 15 a little more time to get it worked out?

I don’t see how you could give him much more time …

I don’t think beating up on Louisiana Monroe is going to suddenly change months of scrimmages and practice results

I think its more about who executes the offense. How close was the battle between Mack and Ty in the fall.

If Mack doesn't get into the game early and it's still close then we know it's not a serious look

Didn't they beat a DII or DIII team 29-0 last week? If Alabama doesn't beat them something like 63-7 then DeBoer has truly ended the era of dominance.
