Your opinion regarding or your post saying Pruitt has been cleared.

I haven't voiced a single opinion. I shared a direct quote that claims Pruitt was on campus this week. I don't know if it's true, and I didn't say anything one way or the other. It was something I haven't seen posted, so I shared it here.

Ok..Misunderstood. Usually when things like this start it never happens. Like when the UT blue bloods kept saying there was sightings of the Sabans looking for houses in Austin. It would not shock me if he was hired as a GA or analyst prior to the NCAA thing comes down and then let go if has a show cause. Would be easier then hiring him as an assistant and firing him after spring ball should he get a show cause

Maybe Bama compliance has talked to the NCAA about hiring Pruitt. Maybe a potential show cause would only limit his recruiting beyond the de facto 2 years (of no college coaching) that he's already served.

1) He hired Pete
2) Coach JP is obviously Bama bound
3) We are hiring a coach with a dubious past
4) Lane approves of the previous three

As for Pruitt being cleared, a Bama radio talk show dude said yesterday that he’s hearing that Bama compliance and SEC compliance cleared Pruitt but they’re awaiting word from the NCAA; he mentioned they were expecting to hear a couple of days ago (when the NCAA was at the 60-day deadline to report back on Tennessee) but apparently they’re still waiting…

Chris Low is talking like Pruitt is not a real possibility. Not sure he’s really privy to all the inner workings of getting Pruitt hired.

From what I’ve heard and read, our compliance department has signed off on JP coming back. As for the SEC office/ commissioner, they can’t decide who can or can’t be hired. They listen to complaints and then make suggestions. The complaints are basically coming from UGA and Kirby and the Viles up on the hill. They can both go kick rocks!! Compliance may have already spoken to the NCAA or they feel pretty confident in their argument that JP has served his time (out of college coaching for two seasons) in comparison to other cases of “show causes” and or they may have suggested some recruiting restrictions on JP to help sway NCAA into giving thumbs up.

TI not real confident on Pruitt either. Plus thought I saw where he does not even talk to the NCAA until April

Basically also what Travier Reir and Tim Watts said yesterday on their BOL podcast.
