Likely won't even win 10 games with all that talent.

His problem is he built the offense around Milroe. I guess some of the most ardent Milroe supporters can see now that he’s not a QB.

He’ll rip 300 yards off on some piss poor bowl team and then they’ll come out of the woodwork blaming the coordinator

Turns out Tommy Rees actually knew what he was doing last year when he dumbed everything down for him

They only have 2-3 tough games all season. The SEC is brutal as crap.

And you can BLAME Nick Saban as well!!

I do for giving a project a scholarship at the QB position. The coaches should have known he was not meant to be a QB outside of running the option or Gus' offense

Kd has made some decisions that could shorten his time substantially.

He’s going to stick with the guys that stayed and didn’t transfer out. That is what it is. That being said, next year his loyalty will shift to the one’s that really want to be there and want to win. I think that goes for the staff as well. I do not envy the position he was put in, with entitled players that mutinied against Saban in his last year. I hope he can convince Ryan Williams to stay with a change at qb but Williams is loyal to Milroe as well. We’ll know soon who is with us and who is against us when the changes start being made.

Literally 14 points came off of Milroe’s picks

You can't be logical with some of these idiots on this board.
The defense gave up 10 points. Milroe couldn't manage to get the offense into the end zone once.

Even Uga couldn't overcome Beck playing horribly against Ole Miss or BAMA.

How can you watch last night's game and blame anyone other than the guy throwing the ball to the wrong team?

Yards aren't fricking points. IDGAF how many yards OU rushed for. Their offense scored 10 fricking points and still beat our offense by a TD!!

DeBoer started Milroe and kept him in this game after 2 INTs and a pathetic performance. It’s on Kalen.

So... how come Kirby didn't bench Beck vs BAMA or vs Ole Miss?

How many times did Lanning beat DeBoer?
The best thing that ever happened to Lanning was DeBoer leaving Washington.

That's what's happening in Eugene.

Also, Lanning almost got beat by Wisconsin. A team DeBoer waxed.

It’s the shitty nature of the game now. Coaches can’t coach. They have to be perpetual sunshine pumpers and let players call the shots.

Even harder when its players that the GOAT recruited and not your staff. Nobody wants to live in reality. Kiffin lost yesterday, Elko lost yesterday. Lanning should have lost to a team that this Bama team crushed. Coaching is hard. The Saban era where one team can dominate every season is over. Hell when was the last time Bama had to go to NORMAN OK to play an OU team that had two weeks to prepare...a week before the Auburn game.

CFB is just insane right now. Folks can embrace it...or go find something else to do on Saturdays. There is NO coach that can be hired that will replicate Saban. 50 year old Saban wouldnt even be able to do it

There's one undefeated team left with one week to play.

When is the last time that's ever happened? Ever?

I also want to give a shoutout to Cignetti. Getting his payday extension BEFORE getting his shite pushed in. Classic.

Excellent point. Last year before barn, BAMA played Chattanooga. A lot different this year.

a 5-5 Oklahoma team

This is also bullshite. *Not calling OP BS* This OU team has one of the best defenses in CFB. They have a QB that is just a terrible passer. The OU team Bama saw...was not the OU team that UT or Texas saw. They basically abandoned their offense and ran Vandy's offense last night. It was brilliant coaching and no Bama had obviously not practiced to defend it. Unless we want to start sending spies to other team's pracitices, this is gonna happen occasionally. Sometimes other teams just rise to the occasion. Sometimes the game means more to them. That was their senior day at home. If you have an extraordinary roster with talented leaders, you can overcome this. Thats not Bama this season. Furthermore Bama's best leader got hurt early in the game.

shite happens

My question was more along the lines of how are Lanning & Day keeping their team of highly paid prima donnas focused and playing to their potential? I think it's fair to say all 3 of Alabama, Oregon & Ohio State had the same aspirations when the season started with pretty equal talent.

What are they doing in Eugene & Columbus then ? What's working for them that isn't for Alabama?

For starters, they play in the Big-10.

Secondly, Oregon literally won a nail biter over a Wisconsin team we beat the ever loving shite out of with Milroe.

Thirdly, Oregon is cooking now because Deboer left the conference.

Lastly, Lanning was whipped as badly by UGA as Vandy was that same year. The fact that he proceeded to win every other game, outside of Washington, should tell you all you need to know about what's happening on Oregon...

The same DeBoer who lost to Lea & Venables? And nail biter or not his squad still beat a team they're supposed to.

Deboer is a very good coach. He's not Saban, and it's year one. I'm afraid he might have wiffed on some of his hires though. And, I don't see him firing anyone soon.

And you trolls just trying to drum up extra controversy should die in a fire.

Calling it equal talent is wild…. Half our roster left last year. Teams took advantage and poached our best players. Put those coaches in the same spot as DeBoer and they’re going .500 at best. Day has choked every big game

Downs is the player that left that Alabama hasn't been able to replace.

Face it, this is all on the coaching staff when you lose two games to 5 and 6 loss teams.

We played 3 down lineman on a 3rd and 1. We've play the same defense on the goal line. Everyone could see what their game plan was...they have a qb who can barely throw yet we're playing 3 dlineman and defending the pass.

There are a whole lot of issues with this team but coaching is one of the main ones.

I don't think it's fair to say this at all.

If you think that Oregon's fans, alumni, boosters, local media or anyone else associated with the program would expect a first year head coach to win a conference title, 10 games, or a national title, then I want to know where you buy your dope.
Lanning is in his 3rd season at a school that will build him a statue if he just doesn't leave. They have almost zero expectations.
Day is in his 6th season. What do you think will happen to Day if he loses to Michigan THIS year?? The point is, he's coaching for his job.
DeBoer took over for the GOAT and is in year one.
Lanning and Day both went to the portal this season for a starting qb. So are they just shitty recruiters?

If you can't look at this scenario and see the differences, then Idk what to tell you.

The fact that you think BAMA and OhioSt or Oregon should have the same aspirations is a testament to how retarded our fanbase is.

Is it on the coaching for beating Uga, Lsu, Usc?

All ranked teams?
