Figured I'd share this here to avoid the Rantard reaction. 
UK has more wins against teams ranked #1 in the AP Poll (3) than wins against Alabama (2) in the history of the football program.

Yeah it was true freshman JoJo Kemp.
Despite any dropoff from last season you're still 4th in the country in points allowed. A shutout won't surprise me. I won't knock the kid for his confidence though. That confidence is part of why Kentucky was able to give both #8 UofL and #13 USCe a game. I'd take that over the hum drum bullshite we saw and heard under Joker.

There is no doubt Stoops has UK on a better trajectory already than the previous regime. It would be fun to see the Cats be a solid football program again.

Dumb host. Not every team is built to beat every team just like it would be dumb for every team to have preseason goals to reach NCG. The RBs response came to a reporter who mentioned OM getting shut out. Kentucky's goals should be something like; holding Bama under 30pts, getting 1 turnover, Getting X# of first downs, x# of yards, completing 10 passes, and making one big play on special teams. You do the process maybe you find yourself in the 4th in a close winnable game.

ETA: Also the two times UK has beaten Alabama is '97 and '22. We had a tie in '39.

I would like to propose a rule that the only non Bama fans that post on here get to be Kentucky fans because you guys are so cute with your completely depressive attitude toward football.

Oh we love our football. We're just realists.
The future looks bright under Stoops though. We have some young guys making big plays and some good talent coming in next season. I'll take consistently improving right now even if it's not showing up in the W column just yet. It could be worse. We could be Arkansas.
